Wonderful, secluded cabin overlooking Muir Valley on a very cool, large private property. The hot tub was a necessary amenity after a day full of hiking. Communication was a breeze via text with the host. 4x4 is a definite must to get up the gravel driveway!

That view really is hard to beat, especially when you get to enjoy it from such a private piece of property! We’re glad the hot tub was waiting after those long hiking days and that texting with our team made communication easy throughout the stay. We also appreciate you reinforcing the 4x4 access note, that gravel driveway definitely calls for the right vehicle. Thanks so much for staying with us and for the 10/10. We’d love to have y’all back for another Muir Valley adventure!

The location of the cabin is way more private than expected in a very good way and the path leading up to it was so pretty and romantic especially for a couple from Arizona not used to that kind of terrain. The path leading in could be a little tricky if one was to show up in a car.

Thank you for the thoughtful comments! We’re so happy the secluded setting turned out to be an unexpected highlight and that you enjoyed the beautiful drive into the property. We were a bit surprised by the 2/10 based on how positively you described the stay, but we’re grateful for the feedback either way. You’re also absolutely right that the approach can feel pretty adventurous in a standard car, and we appreciate you mentioning that for future travelers. Thanks so much for staying with us!

Beautiful, secluded location near everything the Gorge and Natural Bridge has to offer. Cozy cabin with great views, great place to recharge. The trail into Muir Valley was a little overgrown, but it’s awesome having trails accessible directly from the cabin.

We thoroughly enjoy our stay at Hemlocks Over Muir. Check-in was super easy and the views from the back are gorgeous! We could hear and see climbers sometimes that were climbing Muir Valley. We also highly recommend Red Point BBQ just down the street from here, the food was delicious.
