Star Lake Vacation

Our family group included 13 adults, 2 toddlers, 2 infants, one 6 year old. We had a very enjoyable time in a safe and very accommodating setting. The house was ideal for us. We loved the lake activities!! Thank you!

Beautiful Property

This property is absolutely amazing! The house is gorgeous and was spotless when we arrived. It has everything you need for a large group. Lots of towels, kitchen supplies and SO MUCH space! The lake was beautiful all times of the day. Rob was very helpful with information!

Bliss in the Northwoods

We hosted a family gathering on Star Lake and lucked out that this fanatic home was available. The house is still new and comfortably furnished with plenty of space for larger groups (we had 8 adults). The views are breathtaking and while the fish outsmarted all but one of us, we had a fun and relaxing stay. Rob was great with suggestions and stories based on his local’s knowledge. We will definitely be back!

Great week on Star Lake

We loved the home and property on the lake. We enjoyed pontooning, kayaking, and paddle boardIng on the lake. Home was very clean and property was well cared for. We hope to visit again!

Amazing location

We had the greatest time at Star Lake! Snow mobiling, hiking, snowball fights, sledding. It was an incredible time with family. We had 9 kids and 9 adults staying in the house and it was plenty of room for us all!

Beauty on Star Lake

Beautiful home, well equipped with everything you need. Lovely setting lakeside with large deck. Enjoyed evenings roasting hot dogs and marshmallows at the fire pit.

The lake home was the best ever! We have extensive travel under our belt and this property was the very best. Beautiful view. High end home with every thing you would need and so much room. 10 person stay for a week, could have had more.

GREAT SETTING

Our family of 12 just spent over a week on this property. It's a wonderful setting. The home offers plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Nice decor. The kitchen is supplied with everything you need. Quiet setting also. The lake is clean, there is a sand bar to enjoy time on the water. The lake is not busy. Fishing is also something to do. Lots of nearby eating establishments, very good food options. The property manager is very helpful, full of information on the lake and area. He also responds in a timely manner to your questions. Nothing but good things to say.

Amazing property on a private, clean lake

This property was amazing for a friends and family getaway! We had a 5 families with kids ranging from ages 5-13 and all were entertained throughout the week—thanks to the foosball table, board games, swing set, swim raft, convenience store down the road, canoe, and kayak (we also rented kayaks and paddle boards and had them delivered from Yoga Paddler, which I highly recommend!). The house was immaculate, kitchen well stocked with every cooking utensil/appliance, and there was room for everyone. Everyone agreed that they wish the week didn’t end and that we could’ve stayed longer!!!

Great!

This is a great place to stay. My only suggestion: we couldn't find any kind of handbook/manual regarding the house. We couldn't figure out how to start the gas fire and how to adjust the thermostat. (It wasn't obvious).

Winter Wonderland

We had close to 20 guest with more than enough space for everyone. The place looked even better in person and the check-in process was extremely easy. The location is awesome. The lake was frozen enough for people to walk on and play on. Overall, it was awesome experience. The only downfall to our stay was the extremely slippery conditions during our stay. We had to wait an hour after check-out to leave the premises due to extreme slippery road conditions. We called the service hotline and they responded extremely quick.

Hiawatha On Star Lake - great setup for large family groups!

We loved our stay at Hiawatha on Star Lake. Large kitchen/family room area easily accommodated our group of 14. Really enjoyed the adjacent screened in porch! We didn't even use the large lower level but it would be perfect for groups with lots of children wanting a separate area. The small amount of steps leading into home and down to the lake plus a first floor bedroom made it great for elderly guests. Only negatives are one bathroom on second floor for 3 bedrooms and lack of closet space/dresser space in one of the upper bedrooms. Plus the lake was great for swimming and boating! Clear water and sand beaches everywhere. Beautiful untouched shorelines along most of the lake due to state park property. Would highly recommend.

Family Vacation

Home was well appointed with nice touches of decorations. Lot's of room for 5 adults and 9 children. Pocket doors limited the noise to the bedrooms and the screened in porch offered an area for the smaller children to play. Swing set was a bonus with lot's of yard for the kids to run and play. The kitchen had everything you would need and the grill was a high end Weber, making grilling easy for a large group. The deck on top of the boathouse was great for early morning coffee, reading or late night cocktails. Fire pit offered firewood. Star Lake is extremely clear with multiple eagle families nesting near the lake this year. One of the best homes we've stayed at over the last 43 years.

Fabulous Family Vacation House!

Hiawatha on Star Lake, as a perfect setting for our family of 17...ages 65 years-3months! The bedrooms offered plenty of room for pack'n'plays, there was ample space for everyone to have dinner, play cards, kids toys etc. The lake is beautiful, quiet, shallow and CLEAN! We do have a few suggestions that would truly help in the future: some box fans, as the upstairs bedroom especially the bunk bed room was pretty warm. Some over the door hooks and additional hooks or shelves in the bedrooms would also be helpful as there are no dressers. A clothesline would be great for towels, suits etc. Other than those few things the house met every need you could think of. Clean, organized and spacious! The screen porch is a FABULOUS feature! Thank you for sharing your amazing home with us! We already booked for next year!! It was a most awesome family week which created cherished memories!!
