Parkman Pad: hot tub, wood stove by Montague breweries
Enjoy a relaxed stay at Parkman Pad in downtown Montague, overlooking the beautiful Montague River with hot tub and wood stove. Located next door to Copper Bottom Brewing and central to all things âdown eastâ, this is your place to stay to take in all eastern PEI has to offer.
Close to Panmure Island Beach, two of Canada's best golf courses, some of the best of the PEI music scene, and only 35 minutes from Charlottetown. Montague has easy access to cycling, walking and the Confederation Trail.
Beautiful property, thoughtful detail with the wood stove ready to light, towels right beside the door to the hot tub.Comfy beds for everyone.Jannett is quick to respond to any questions, and checks in to ensure you have everything for your stay.
Centrally located in Montague everything was within walking distance, and the property has a great back deck for enjoying the view.
This cottage offered all of the amenities that we needed for our one week stay with the family. The property was beautifully decorated. It comfortably fit 4 adults and 3 kids. The mattresses were very comfortable which is very important to us. There were several options for dining and we were close to many activities, The hot tub was definitely a big hit. The outdoor and indoor space was nice for having family from the island over for a visit. Our host was easy to contact and quick to reply with answers to our questions. Thanks for a great stay.
This is a beautifully decorated and renovated older home. The kitchen was stocked and easy to use. We enjoyed the quality appliances and bbq. Hot tub was clean. The main floor layout and furnishings worked well for our family of 4. The deck is very nice and private with lovely seating options. The main drawback is the upstairs areas/ bedrooms are small with minimal room for suitcase/clothes. The stairs are narrow and steep with limited head room so maybe difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Also taller people will need to duck to miss the slanted ceilings. This is the charm of an older property as long you are prepared.
Annually we go to the eastern part of PEI as a group of 3 couples for golf, and just relaxing. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised with the location being so close to all local enmities.
It was a beautiful weekend so we spent a lot of time on the deck. Very large with beautiful accents. A large outdoor dinning table with umbrella, another seating area with couch and 2 comfortable chairs, an egg swing and best of all a wonderful hot tub. Also a wonderful barbecue as well as an outdoor fire pit.
Inside was equally impressive. Brand new everything! Lots of seating and open area for the group to be able to spend time all in the same spaces. A smaller downstairs bathroom that housed a sweet shower and washer/dryer. The kitchen contained everything you would need for a multi day stay. the host even had thought of so many extras including bug spray and sunscreen.
There were some games and toys as well! They have truly thought of everything. The upstairs consisted of 3 beautiful bedrooms. Bed and bedding were very comfortable and so well thought out. The large upstairs bathroom had everything needed and many extras as well. Beautiful towels,, and a large tub/shower.
The host contacted us daily to just check in. We didnât have an questions or concerns as truly everything was thought of and all of the information and instructions were laid out in the welcome package.
Iâm leaving out so many details, and just want to reiterate how wonderful this experience was for us all. We look forward to returning at some point soon.
the house is absolutely lovely with a hot tub (which was added after I secured the place for our extra enjoyment) and firepit with wood all ready for use. The access was seamless, everything you need was right there. Quiet yet accessible and the owner was fantastic to deal with. Exceptional place and brilliant place for us to call home for a short while.
We are a Canadian-Australian family with twin boys. We are based in Prince Edward Island, Canada but try to spend as much time in both countries as we can (easier said than done between kids and a global pandemic!). PEI and Australia's Yarra Valley/Melbourne are close to our hearts and we love to share them with visitors from all over the world.
Montague and the Three Rivers area is where my mother grew up, and we were married in nearby Georgetown. We love "down east" and have tried to create the experience we enjoy. We live in Charlottetown, and for us the short drive to Montague still feels like a holiday!
One of the biggest reasons we love this house is because it is located next door to Copper Bottom Brewing and their incredible live music. A short walk takes you to Bogside Brewing for more delicious eats and drinks. The Montague Marina is a beautiful area leading down the pristine Montague River. It is the perfect base for exploring the area, with beaches, shops, great restaurants, outdoor spaces and attractions within a 15 minute drive.
We decorated the house with comfort and a social atmosphere in mind. Enjoy the many indoor/outdoor sitting spaces and the lively atmosphere!
