Clean, cozy & safe! I love this cozy little house and all the extra touches make it even more special. I always try to stay here when on my business trips if itâs available :)
We loved our 3 night stay! We enjoyed the ourdoor space and garden in our mornings and evenings. The bed was very comfortable and literally everything we could have wanted was thoughtfully there for us. The house was super clean and comfortable as well as quiet.
Very cozy place. Well-stocked and organized kitchen, comfortable bed, very clean, and lots of sitting space in the living room. I loved the fact that there was a tea kettle and coffee maker, (with the coffee pods - yay!).We would stay there again.
The neighborhood is safe and very quiet. The one bedroom home has a special charm. The kitchen equipment and all of the appliances operated perfectly. Many thanks for an enjoyable stay.
Cosy House is a perfect home base for two people, with the most charming backyard and patio. Bobbie has equipped the place with every possible convenience â air fryer, three options for coffee, barbecue, laundry ( plus drying rack) and solar lights that turn the backyard into a fairyland after dark. we will absolutely come again!
Only a quick stop on our road trip around Lake Superior but this house was just perfect. Communications with the owner were great and we really appreciated all of the little touches to make us feel at home. You can really tell the owners went out of their way to make everything perfect. The location was great - close to restaurants, the grocery store and Tim Horton's! (Our first trip up to Canada and the kids were obsessed with Tim Horton's.)I also really appreciate that the house is pet free - as someone with allergies to pretty much everything, it's so nice to have an option where I don't have to worry.
This was a great place to stay! Very accurate in regards to how it was described. Great seating available in all areas, including a great outdoor space. Great communication with the host and no issues at all. The location was easy to get to any place we were headed and to make quick stops during the day. We'll definitely look to stay again when in the area.
We were visiting family in the area this was a very comfortable stay and had everything we needed. Close distance to hiking and the lake. Close to the sauna, the gym, grocery and pharmacy. Very quiet neighborhood! Perfect for our week long stay. Thank you Bobbie!
This was my second stay at this one bedroom home. It's an easy place to feel "at home"...instantly, when I walked into the house. I wouldn't consider any other place to stay when I return to Thunder Bay.
An immaculate, cozy home with lots of personal and thoughtful details. Location is super convenient but yet in a quiet neighborhood. Absolutely would stay here again!
We found the stay to be excellent. We enjoyed not having to deal with downfalls of hotels. The home was a great choice for a relaxing stay. Thank you!

To be fare, I also have to be honest. If my wife.and I were childless and in our twenties or thirties, I would give the owner a 4+ star rating. But, we both are in our mid to late seventies & childless. I feel that this house in the States would not be compliant to standards set by the ADA. My wife and I have mobility issues. I have contestant issues. And I have allergy issues . The mobility issues we handled just fine. But, for people with worse conditions than ours, beware there is a step down from the living room to the dining, kitchen, bathroom and laundry. This level change is about 6â. From this level there is probably a 9â rise to get into the bedroom. Addressing my countenance issues, I had to negotiate the level Change as well as navigate through the dining room and the kitchen to get to the toilet. One of the allergy issues I have is with molds. This can be of any kind. Written in the manual was âdonât close the door to the laundry due to mold issues.â To help moderate this issue, I believe that the owner installed scent defusers in every room. I know I have been tough in this evaluation. The cure was as bad as the problem, at least for me. But my allergies turned into sever Asmatic attacks during our stay. We ended up driving home from TB to the far eastern end of MIâs Upper Peninsula giving up two days and three nights of our vacation forfeiting several Hundred dollars beside.
We were very pleased with our stay and were impressed by the seasonal staging of the home. We felt right at home and it was very convenient for us to have our family over for a visit
Great house in a quiet neighborhood, but easy access to the rest of Thunder Bay and the 11/17 highway. Kitchen fully equipped for cooking and baking. Back yard and deck are a nice spot for relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing. Would definitely stay here again!
