SanSoucis is a luxury 3 bed detached villa on a private gated residence in the medieval town of Aigues Mortes. It is also a 7 min drive to 17 miles of beautiful beaches, one for every day of the week. The villa is fully air conditioned. Hi-Speed internet is available to all when holidaying at SanSoucis. The house has a 40in flat screen TV. There is a DVD library and a small book/magazine library .
A large enclosed terrace creates a safe environment for children and great for family entertainment. There are outdoor sun loungers on the terrace, an 8 seat dining set on the patio and a 3-piece sofa set in a shaded part of the terrace .
The three bedrooms are configured as two doubles (one en-suite) and one twin bedded room.
The house enjoys a large enclosed shared pool with sundeck for the use of residents, the pool is very safe for children.
The area is wonderfully served by great beaches, water-sports, horse riding, golf, great restaurants and superb vineyards. The Petit Camargue National Park is on your doorstep, and the region is steeped in culture and the arts.

Golf: There are excellent golfing opportunities in the region. The Robert Trent Jones championship course at La Grande Motte is only 10 mins away, there are many other good courses in a 45 km radius of the house.

Skiing: The Pyrenees are about a 2 hr drive, Andorra is a highly regarded skiing destination with good facilities, good snow and equipment hire. This makes the house an ideal all year round option.

Sailing: There are excellent sailing facilities close to the house. The largest marina on the Med is about 20 mins away at Port Camargue. There is boat and yacht rental/charter available with or without crews. there is also a good variety of catamaran and small sailboat rental available all along the coast, in Aigues Mortes and at the beaches.

We found the house to be extremely well located just a few minutes walk from the walls of the town of Aigues Mortes. The house was well equipped for cooking, washing clothes, and diswashing, all the necessities for family living. It was nice to find that there was a supply of beach towels available for use and that there were spares to allow for rotation. There was a great outdoor gas barbacue which we used regularly however this proved a little problematic to light as the ignition spark did not work. (perhaps a new battery could sort this.) We used the outdoor eating area almost all of the time for meals and for sitting out at night with a glass of wine, one word of warning.... Bring Mosquito spray as they are incredibly prolific. Another plus with the house was the air conditioning which I don't think you could do without inJuly/ August The proximity to the pool was excellent and even though there are almost 80 houses on the estate the pool never seemed crowded. The garage is also well equipped with 2 bicycles for use of the guests, and even a fishing rod if that takes your fancy. Cycle paths while present in some places are not really suitable for kids who have just started cycling as they are narrow and the canal walk just down from the house is very rough underfoot for cycling or running on. Restauraunts in town were a mixed Bag we would suggest La Salicorne as a good option if a little on the expensive side, Cafe de Commerce is also excellent with very good service. On the other side of the coin La Montjoie in the square is very basic, but passable. La Citadelle should be avoided at all costs as we had a very bad experience here with huge waiting times between courses, cold food, extremely poor service. Also while the food is reasonably good at Les Capuchins in the square, if you want a relaxing meal aviod here as the object seems to be to cram in as many as possible and get them through and out as fast as possible.

wieder ein schöner Urlaub

Wie die letzten Aufenthalte auch, war es wieder ein gelungener Urlaub. Die Unterkunft mit dem Pool (Gemeinschaftspool der Wohnanlage) war wieder perfekt. It was a nice holiday (as the last ones). Pool and house were perfect.

Superfijne vakantie

Prettig huis van alle gemakken voorzien. De airconditioning kwam heel goed van pas! Ook de strandparasol en de standstoeltjes waren super! De tuin is heel fijn om te eten en te liggen. Rustige buurt wat heel fijn was. Enig minpuntje zijn de ietwat kleine en harde bedden. Het zwembad is heerlijk ruim en schoon, jammer dat er weinig schaduw is dus niet geschikt om lang te liggen. Aigues-Mortes is een prachtig stadje, de markt is ook een aanrader, veel te zien en te doen in de streek. Erg van genoten. Dank Nathalie voor de goede zorgen.

Wieder sehr schöner Urlaub

Der Aufenthalt hat uns wieder sehr gut gefallen. Erwähnenswert ist der Pool (für alle innerhalb der Wohnanlage), der an heißen Tagen Abkühlung verspricht. Das Häuschen ist mit allem erforderlichen ausgestattet, um sich auch selbst zu versorgen oder man isst in einem der leckeren Restaurants innerhalb der Aigues-Mortes (der historische Teil ist fußläufig schnell erreicht). Many Thanks to Mary and Tony for offering "Sans Soucis" to ohters. It's perfect for familiy and friends holiday.

Génial

Jolie maison qui ne manque de rien en terme d'équipement avec quelques petites touches en plus comme un coin bibliothèque et quelques jeux de sociétés qui est appréciable. Seul petit bémol, pas accès à la piscine de la résidence, cause prévention covid! et quelques petits soucis de connexion wifi, mais rien d'alarmant. Dans l'ensemble, nous en sommes très satisfaits, nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Les propriétaires sont très gentils. Je recommande.

Great place to stay

We spent 2 wonderful weeks in Sansoucis. Aigues Mortes is really well located in a calm residence, near to the swiming pool, very close to the city center, and close to Nimes, Baux de Provence, and other nice places to visit. The house is well equiped, and the welcoming was really cheerful and warm. 1 regret : there is no shadow near the swimming pool. A little improvement : storage places are not totally enough in the kitchen and in the bedrooms. Anyway, the place is absolutely great, and we will come back for sure.

Lovely family holidays

Just returned from the 3rd stay in this wonderful house. We spent the most wonderful time in Aigues Mortes: the house is located just outside the pretty cosy town, near the canal. There are lots of walking and cycling possibilities. The Mediterranean is 5 minutes away with plenty of fantastic beaches. (e.g. l'Espiguette) The house is comfortable and situated in the middle of a very quiet and neighbour –friendly residential area. All in all, we loved it, certainly would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a calm unadventurous holiday.

Sehr schöner Familienurlaub!

Die Vermieter waren sehr hilfsbereit und haben umgehend auf die E-Mails reagiert. Uns hat es in Aigues-Mortes sehr gut gefallen und wir konnten während unserem 14-tägigen Aufenthalt gar nicht alle Ausflüge machen, die wir eigentlich auf dem Plan hatten. Die Strände waren sehr schön, uns gefiel der Strand L'Espiguette und die Strände in la Grande Motte (ausserhalb der Stadt) am besten. Auch wenn wir zu den Stränden das Auto brauchten, war das nicht wirklich ein Minuspunkt. sie sind alle ziemlich schnell erreichbar. Das Haus war sehr schön eingerichtet, sehr sauber und es hatte alles was man braucht. Es fehlte an nichts und wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Perfect

Simply perfect. The owners react kindly and fast to email. Deposit against damages was returned very fast. The house has all the comfort you can ask for and is very well located within the property (close to swimming pool, own parking space right in front of the house). The terras is very big and you always can find a place either in the sun or in the shaddow depending on what you prefer at that moment in time. Note that the house is not in walking distance of any beach but this was not a problem for us because there are plenty of beaches nearby. You need a car but as we never had parking problems, so that's not an issue neither.

erholsamer Urlaub

Es ist ein sehr schönes und gepflegtes Haus. Die Residenz ist sehr ruhig gelegen und nur ein paar Schritte von Aigues Mortes entfernt. Jeder Zeit wieder.

An excellent choice

Aigues Mortes was a brilliant place to stay, and so was this villa. Well located, clean, comfortable and well-maintained it was a true home from home. We appreciated the fact that the kitchen had a well-stocked spice rack and all the necessary implements. The previous week we had stayed somewhere without salt & pepper or tea towels! We found the visitor’s book in the villa particularly helpful regarding where to eat out in the town and places to go. The town is only 5 minutes' walk away. Very convenient for eating out and visiting the castle and ramparts. Only two of us were staying, so we had plenty of space. The house was on a quiet estate with security gates and there is also a communal swimming pool, although we didn’t use it. The owner and keyholder were both helpful and friendly as well.

Came to Aigues Mortes to buy in the 'Marina;. 'SanSoucis' came on the market while we were here. As its only a 3 minute walk to the beautiful walled town of Aigues Mortes decision made there and then and duly purchased it. We still look forward each trip, our children and now our grandchildren. Now we as a larger family enjoy wonderful times in our lovely French home. We know whoever stays in 'SanSoucis' will have memories forever.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This is a luxury 3 bed detached property in the edge of the stunning walled town of Aigues Mortes, 3 minutes walk to wonderful restaurants, artisan shops and beautiful buildings, 12th century buildings. The house has a beautiul large enclosed terrace, shaded by 2 Palm trees which provides shade if required. The terrace is safe for young children and wonderful for alfresco dining. Seating for 8 persons dining. The pool is 40 metres from the front door.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Aigues Mortes is in the Camargue where white horses and black bulls are visible in the fields. Access to 17 miles of beaches is within a 7 minute drive. Two major cities are close by, Montpellier (25 mins) and Nimes (35 mins), which are both worth a day trip. The train station in Aigues Mortes serves Grau Du Roi beach twice daily and to Montpellier daily.
