Lovely stay

We had a lovely stay at the property. We were 4 adults and 5 kids under the age of 7. There was more than enough space for all of us!! Our kids absolutely loved the playground in the backyard and we as adults loved the proximity to the falls!

Prime location, great stay for a big group.

This was a great property for our group of friends to stay for a weekend in Niagara. Within walking distance to the falls, lots of beds, parking spaces and a big backyard. Would highly recommend for a group visiting the area!

Great location, lots of amenities

Wonderful location, we enjoyed the 25-30 minute walk to the Falls. The backyard was fabulous for us to spend time together as a family - big yard, pool, hot tub, and patio with grill and fire. We had a wonderful time!

Family get away

The property was clean. The manager was very cooperative. The back yard had a great pool. It was not walking distance to anything, but it was a very short drive to everything.

Great location and home

The property is located in a great neighborhood. Perfect for our family. We had a small pet so the fenced in backyard was great. The home is quaint and spacious. Jonathan, the property manager was very attentive to our needs and was very welcoming. We look forward to returning in the future!

It’s amazing location it’s literally 4 min from Clifton hill and 6 min to marine land .

The property was great. Spoke with Gaston about what could be added to make it more user-friendly and safe for people with disabilities and seniors but there is nothing negative to say

Great home and amenities

An updated historical home with plenty of room for everyone. We had 3 families (6 adults, 6 kids) and everyone was comfortable. The hot tub, sauna and game table kept everyone entertained while we were there. It was a short drive to the Falls and attractions, and the street was quiet. There were some oversights in cleaning, but nothing egregious. Would definitely stay again (in summer time! lol)

Cozy lovely home

It was a beautiful house. As soon I walked in we felt like home and comfortable. They had everything from cutlery to plates. Even Air fryer. Loved the hot tub. Moreover its closer to Clifton hills. Will definitely go again.

Overall experience

Overall amazing really nice property amazing pool and really warm. Sleeps 14 easy the home is massive about a 10min walk to the “new casino” and about 15-20 walk to the top of the strip overall 4 outta 5 stars only thing was unsettling was the basement laundry room was really creepy with a couple old mattress flipped over and on walls lol.

Awesome place and great experience overall!

First, the owners are extremely responsive. They communicate perfectly and respond sometimes in minutes. This is hugely important. The house was plenty big enough for 2 adults and 8 kids. Very kid friendly in general with a fenced in yard and an in-ground pool and playground. The neighborhood is nice and quiet too and close to everything. We had a blast and I would definitely stay here again!

Would rent again!

The property was a good size with plenty of seating on the back patio for our ball team.the pool was heated and felt great after our ball games. The hot tub just arrived and was not hooked up yet. The house had lots of room for all of us to sleep comfortably. Johnathan replied quickly if we had any concerns. Would rent again.

Great Spot!

The first thing I really loved about this property is how clean it was. Our family has been to many VRBO's and I was impressed with how clean it was. It was close to the falls and I felt safe. Communication was great and very quick. The playground and hot tub was a relaxing touch! We tried the sauna and it worked and you could play music through the speakers. There is ping pong. I imagine this house would be specular in the summer with the pool. We had a lovely family getaway.

Fantastic property for families

Clean, spacious house in a quiet neighborhood. We especially loved the heated swimming pool, backyard playground, and ping pong/pool table. The property manager was super helpful and responsive. The kitchen has plenty of pots/pans, plates/glasses, air fryer, toaster oven, coffee maker, but no serving dishes/spoons, ice trays. Bathrooms have hand soap, toilet tissue, lots of bath towels, but no wash cloths or hand towels. Beds/pillows are comfortable and there are extra blankets. Loved having a washer/dryer and returning with clean clothes. :)

Location was great however place was dirty and I maintained.

Overall, we love the location, and the size was perfect for our family and very close to the falls. There was no main floor bedroom or bathroom so this place would not be suitable for someone with poor mobility also risk for young children. Stairs are quite steep. Quite a few things were visibly very dirty. There was not a lot of cleanliness in the home. We did sweep as soon as we got there, dog hair covered the floor. It did not look like it had been cleaned properly in a while. Lots of random items shoved in the kitchen drawers, messy but not a huge deal. Downstairs light was broken and not replaced, broken piece on tub so you can’t use the jet tub, upstairs was quite dirty especially the walls and floor, which was a concern because the stairs were a little slippery and full of dust and dog hair. we had young children crawling around. Fire alarm battery beeping throughout the night, was not fixed when I alerted the manager. Had to listen to it beep for 3 nights. Fridge was also leaking, this was also reported and not fixed during our stay. Sauna and hot tub worked and were a nice add.

Niagara getaway

I’ll keep this as brief as possible. The host was great, quick response time. Property great. Tons of space, and everything you need. Only cristicism of the property itself, is no washroom on main level. Beds were ok. The outside area was huge. Our little dogs loved running around, as it’s all fenced. The pool was perfect. That too was separately fenced. The only downfall for us were the massive amount of wasps outside by the sliding door. We found we couldn’t enjoy that area like we should have, for fear of being stung. For the little time we spent out there, we were always swatting them away. Not sure if they’re attracted to some flower there of if there’s a hive somewhere. But we would definitely book this property again.

Not what it seemed

Unfortunately this property is old and needs a real face lift. No main floor washroom, the floors were less than clean, the bedding was not changed in one bedroom, if you struggle with stairs this is not the place for you. Our cars were ransacked during the night. If you don't have Netflix TV is out as the property owners do not subscribe to cable. The children's play area equipment outside is falling down and dangerous as a result. Overall would not recommend this property.

House needs repairs and deep cleaning

There are pros and cons to this property Pros: big backyard with a playset, plenty of space in the house, good location Cons: the house needs repairs. Lots of things were broken and dirty during our stay. Slats on the beds were broken causing the mattress to fall through, the showers had mildew, the carpets were stained, many light fixtures were broken, doors to the bathrooms wouldn’t fully close, tub faucet was broken etc. We also didn’t have enough towels, hand soap, trash bags. The basement bedroom does not have a door and is very open to the main living area. You cannot sleep with others awake in the living room. The basement “closet” is also just an unfinished portion under the stairs with a half height curtain hanging. The previous guests apparently had done some damage which the property manager was very communicative and nice about trying to fix. But the TV was broken, there had been some incident in the master bedroom that they tried to clean which left the rug soaking wet and a sour smell so we had to leave the windows open. There were lots of dirt and stains on the walls which I assume were from the previous guests but who knows. For these reasons it was not a very pleasant stay in the house.

Family Vacation Nightmare

We were horribly disappointed when we arrived and found the pool and hot tub dirty, the grass uncut for weeks, the play structure old and falling apart (literally) and weeds so high in and around the sandbox. The pictures for this property must've been taken 5 years ago, because the bushes are now huge with again weeds growing everywhere. It even had a small bush growing in the lawn and when we googled it, found that it was poisonous! The deck is very old with some areas of rotted wood, spaces between the boards and screws sticking out. Part of the siding of the house is coming off with sharp edges right on the deck area. The handrails both on the front porch and deck area are loose and dangerous. The sliding door from the house to the deck is sooo hard to open that one of the men in our group would have to open it. Not a safe area for children. The house itself is old but clean and quaint. Except that although this is listed for 12 people, there were only 7 forks available. The walk-in shower in the basement did not have a door. Normally, there is a welcome book with instructions as to how to run things, where to leave garbage, and check out instructions...there was none. We spent hours contacting many people when we arrived and thankfully the pool and spa were cleaned and grass mowed the next day. A lot of our time wasted to get normal maintenance done. The house is in a great area for walking to different sights. But not up to VRBO standards.

Much different than the photos...

The positives during our stay was size of the home and location. However, the negatives far out weigh the positives. There are mice. A rather large dead mouse was found in the laundry area. This area is adjacent to the bedroom in the basement. We contacted the management company as the heater in the gargage kept violently blowing a fuse and we couldn't use the pool table and ping pong in such cold weather. It took two calls and persistence to obtain a space heater for our stay. There is much to be "fixed" in this old home. The windows in the living room and front door to the porch are mysteriously missing and cause a signifcant draft to the living room. The refrigerator leaks constantly and you need to keep towels on the floor around it to avoid a casulty. The wheels continued to fall off the dishwasher racks as they are also broken. Cupboards in the kitchen are filthy inside and need organization and cleaning. The bathroom downstairs is missing the shower door thus it soaks the floor after every shower. It's also covered with mold/mildew in the corner and grouted areas.Lightbulbs are missing, towel bars pulled off from walls. No face cloths, so bring your own. And, no house informational guide book for check in or check out. Carpets to the lower level are filthy and very stained as is a lot of the furniture. We had remotes not working and chriping smoke detectors - all we dealt with on our own. We were offered a free stay again in the spring and declined.
