Laurie was terrific and making sure we had everything we needed. The location was excellent for touring around the small towns and fabulous for beach walking. A great relaxing spot!
We enjoyed our stay. Itâs a perfect place if you enjoy sunsets and waves. On a rainy day there is a space with ping pong and games. Good bedrooms and accommodations. Had everything we needed.
A quaint yet roomy house on the shores of Lake Huron just minutes from Goderich, perfect for a weekend get-away for our grown family of 8. Very clean and appointed with all the comforts of home, including a large kitchen, two spacious living room areas, and all 5 bedrooms with comfy beds and new linens. We enjoyed the variety of family games, including ping-pong and yard games, the large deck, nightly sunsets, and excursions to the Goderich farmer's market and boardwalk along the main beach. It's a bit of a hike down the stairs from the cottage to the waterfront, so just be mindful if you have any mobility issues or very young children. Host Laurie was great - always quick to respond to my messages and provided helpful information to enhance our stay!
The property is near many interesting outdoor activities and has a safe and well-maintained stair down the bluff to beautiful gravel beach. The cottage is compact, very comfortable and nicely-decorated. Our host maintains her cottage immaculately and is responsive and easy to deal with. We enjoyed our stay a lot!
We were a family of 9..a mix of adults and children. The accommodation was great and the deck and deck furniture were excellent.
The kitchen was well equipped however we could have done with a few more mugs and glasses.
Although there are quite a few steps down to the beach they are very well made with rest stops in a couple of places.
Overall a very enjoyable holiday. The host contacted us back quickly whenever we had a query. We would recommend this location.
This property is beautiful. The pictures are exactly how the space looks and, if anything, itâs more beautiful in person. The host is amazing. She answers all questions and shared all information.
The location is close to town, hiking, great food, coffee, etc. the outdoor space is spectacular. The beach is incredibly, with stairs that give you direct access to the beach, water, and beautiful treasures. The view of the water and wrap around deck is really lovely. We were a small family of 3 visiting - there is space for a bigger group and I think it would still permit for people to have individual retreats, as needed.
