Gazin’ and grazin’

Short visit to take in Hershey and visit some high profile food and beverage locations - did not disappoint. The property has 2 huge TVs to take in the visual entertainment; a major plus. Wish we found the washer; while not ideal, we discovered a coin laundry across the street. Shouldn’t have to trouble the manager with this level of task - either it’s present or it’s not. And when not, it’s usually not an option for use. Overall we liked the space and it served its purpose.

Neighborhood not what I expected. The outside was broken down and dirty

The inside of the home was nice but basement had all spiderwebs and was all concrete. The sliding farmer doors were broken. The outside area was full of bugs and Loud noises because it’s across from the factory and right behind the train tracks. It kept my younger kids up all night. Property manager was excellent and accommodating. Just wish we chose a different house in a different location.

William, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: We are disappointed to hear that you and you're children came across some critters in the basement section of the house. The basement is only intended for use of the laundry machines by our cleaning service. This is something we can bring to the attention of the service so they can try and clear out the webs regularly. Future guests can close and lock the basement door to prevent children from entering during their stay We're sorry to hear you were disappointed with the location and exterior of the home. Unfortunately, there is not much that we can do to prevent the presence of critters after our cleaning crew completes a sweep of the house. We were not aware of any broken doors but this has since been inspected by our property manager Thanks for your valuable feedback as we continue to make improvements for future guests!

Nice house close to Hershey Park

Nice house that is located about 5-10 min drive to Hershey Park. There are grocery stores nearby for shopping and any forgot necessities. There is ample sleeping and living space. If you have little ones, please note that the train does go through multiple times at night. We have grown children, so the trains were not a problem as we all slept like rocks. Which brings me to the beds which are SUPER COMFORTABLE!! We enjoyed that the house was at the end of the street and secluded. My only recommendation is if you are planning on your cooking meals at the house, take basics with you (salt, pepper, cooking spray, cling wrap, ect) Other than that this house was a perfect fit for our family of six to enjoy Hershey Park during the day and have room for everyone to enjoy games/ movies and dinner in the large common areas. We will definitely be booking this house the next time we make the trip!!
