The host sent good information about the house location and getting into it. The house was in good condition with lots of household equipment. Th upstairs bedrooms were very warm at night. We were a group of 10 and would have liked a dining room table to eat at and play games on. Overall we had a good time.

This house suited us perfectly. Six people, no sharing of bedrooms! That monstrous living room couch was AMAZING. Easy access to town and the lake.

Great Home

Our family does a yearly vacation and this place was our favorite of all. It is spacious and has a huge backyard for the kids to play. We are considering renting again next year. Lots to do around the area.

Golf Getaway

This house was perfect for a few friends and I to get away and golf some really great courses nearby. Beautiful area, we hope to come back again in the future. Property manager was responsive accommodating. Thanks for having us!

Great for my family

This was my family’s fifth year staying in a Vrbo. It ranks first with my family of 11. Enough bedrooms, mostly upstairs. Convenient kitchen. Beautiful backyard. Located far enough out but only a 15-20 minute drive to Sheboygan. We had a great time!

Hi Lance, thanks for sharing your feedback on your recent stay. After reviewing your comments, the homeowner wanted to provide the following explanations:- The home has a 40-gallon water heater, and with multiple guests using hot water simultaneously, it may take some time to refill.- The upstairs AC units are window units, sized appropriately for the rooms, but we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the missing adjustment knob.- The sunroom is designed with large windows, two doors, a ceiling fan, and an additional floor fan for ventilation, but we're sorry that it felt unusable during your stay.- The upstairs bed frame is custom-made and doesn't support a box spring due to its height, but it has wooden plates for proper mattress support.- We are aware of the issue with the upstairs fan and will address it as soon as possible.Once again, we appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve the guest experience.

On the cheap, dark, depressing & overpriced

This place reminds me of a Mobil home added on to on the weekends via Home Depot, AC is via cheap tiny NOISEY window units. Entire inside of home is painted dark dreary colors (greys, blacks, greyish blues) with very poor lighting and for instance the only lights in master were an industrial colored BRIGHT white light like the kind used in interrogation rooms. The internet is slow but becomes useless as soon as more than 2 people login on their phones… Ran out of hot water with 2 showers going at once… Way over priced for what it is and wouldn’t stay there again at 1/2 price. Oh wait there’s more, left 3 messages with host Via website and email about extending a day and NEVER got a response… Moved to a Hyatt for all guests and was less money lol

Nobody likes a showboat

The sheer disappointment when walking into this property can not be understated. After reviewing many properties online, this one was the last available big enough to host our large group. We were excited about the amenities this property boasted. Upon entering the property, we were welcomed with large, gothic wall art, dimly lit and uninviting rooms and an eery sense of being watched. Approaching our stay with optimism, we proceeded to find that the showers reeked of sulfur. The hotter the water, the worse the smell. After killing spiders in our beds the night before, this was not a welcome experience the next morning. Thanks to inadequate window AC units, the whole of the house is hot while the rooms are an ice chest. After being excited to grill out with our group upon seeing a grill listed in the title of the listing, we were disappointed to find a rusted out, glorified wire rack for a “grill” in the backyard. No charcoal or any sort of accessories to utilize said grill, anyway. After disputing our discrepancies with the property owner, property manager and VRBO we were met with little effort and no resolve for our rather unpleasant experience. Avoid this property if you enjoy sanity

Hi Karson, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:-The photos of the property were taken earlier this year, and they accurately reflect the home, including recent updates like the outdoor sunroom area and bunk beds.-Each bedroom is equipped with ceiling fans and lights, as well as additional floor lamps to enhance lighting.-The property has well water, and a water softener was updated within the past five years to mitigate any sulfur smell. Unfortunately, some odor may still be present due to the nature of the well water.-Window A/C units are provided as stated in the listing, with a larger unit installed in the living room to help regulate the temperature on the lower level.-The grill is a charcoal grill as described, and while charcoal isn't provided, the necessary utensils are located in the kitchen drawer.We appreciate your feedback so we can continue to improve and help this homeowner provide guests with the 5-star service they are known for. We hope to host you again soon!

Huge house, huge yard!

This house is great for a large family vacation like ours. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep and move around. We spent a lot of time playing the arcade games in this house…like A LOT of time :) I gave 4 stars because there were just a couple things that weren’t as amazing as the rest of the house. The Wi-Fi was not very good and the window a/c units didn’t cool the main living room very well.
