My family does a Daytona Beach trip every year, and this year was the best one yet. This place has amazing amenities! Lots of memories were made, especially swimming laps around the lazy river! Would definitely go back again!

Property was perfect for our stay. Comfortable and quiet. We did not really use kitchen but was nice to have the option. Will stay again!

Great Time

My family stayed for a week during spring break and had a great time. Pools and beach were awesome, room was as described, and everything at the resort was in great condition.

Perfect location

We’ve stayed at the ocean walk every time we’ve come to Daytona and this condo was perfect! It was just as the listing said, perfect view, and great overall! Definitely recommend.

Perfect for what we needed

The property was neat and tidy. It was exactly as pictured. It fit my husband myself and our 3 kids just right. We loved the ocean views and balcony. The hotel staff were great at answering all our questions and helping with anything we needed!

Daytona Wyndham Resort - South Tower

The location of the condo was excellent. The complex was very well maintained and clean. The pools were clean and beach access was excellent. The condo was more than adequate for a 2-week stay (beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped, TV's good). It could use a throughly cleaning (bathroom, grills, fans, baseboards, etc.) and a few minor repairs. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Amazing vacation

My daughter and I enjoyed our vacation tremendously. Booking the room was very easy. I was able to contact the owner with ease and got answers to all of my questions extremely quick. Check in and check out was effortless. The condo was beautiful and very comfortable. We had the most amazing view. The beds are extremely comfortable The location is close to everything. The resort was very secure and well maintained. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to make forever memories.

Great Unit with a great view!

This unit was perfect for our needs! Everything worked well. The washer and dryer are fairly new. The beds were comfortable! It is stocked fairly well. I would diffently rent this unit again!

Great Vacation!

Absolutely amazing stay! Cindy was by far the best person I have ever rented from! We had some issues that were beyond her control with the unit and she went above and beyond to make sure our stay exceeded our expectations and even allowed us to add additional time to our stay. The unit(s) we stayed in were adequately stocked with starter supplies which honestly last our family of three the whole week, plenty of towels, dishes, utensils, cooking supplies etc. Gorgeous beach front views and great location at the Oceanwalk so plenty of entertainment surrounding. We would rent with Cindy again!

Nice location, lots of amenities

The location of the property is perfect and the resort offers lots of amenities for children. This was our third time staying at Ocean Walk and so far the unit that we rented this time was the worst. The unit needs to be upgraded badly! Everything in the apartment is very old. The a/c worked when it wanted to and the ceiling leaked in the kitchen near the a/c vent. The tile in the bathroom floor was loose, you could feel it moving as you walk on it. Also the room was dirty! The extra sheets for the couch that let out to a bed were just balled up into a ball in the top of the closet and looked to be used.

I am sorry you had issues during your stay, If the vents had condensation then you had the thermostate too low and the balcony door open, If you needed new linens I was only a phone call away, and you'll be happy to know the owner is updating this condo in the fall although it is not out dated. Everything is clean and in workable order. PS It's a brand new AC unit just installed less then one month ago.

Not my favorite

Pics and location matched fine. Host was not a ghost but not the most helpful host I’ve ever had either. I washed every dish before use and kept my flip flops on the whole time because I wasn’t confident it was clean. Strongly recommend the host do away with the carpet. Beds were comfortable! If I stay again I will book directly through the resort.

Thank you for staying with us, I am not sure why you had to wash dishes, when I read this review I went to the condo to see what was wrong with the dish washer and because you had not mentioned it wasn't working, The dishwasher is working fine, After the summer rentals the carpeting needs cleaning most likely, we do spring and fall deep cleaning. I would love to have tile in all of my units I manage but it is not my call it is not my condo I am a property manager.

pullout mattress needs to be thrown out or deeply cleaned, hotel is great,owners dont like critique.

Beds, bathroom tub, dishes and refrigerator were not cleaned. I had to buy products to clean. The washing machine smelled like mildew and I ran a cleaning cycle on that. There was mold/mildew around tub and all on shower curtain.I had to wash covers and sheets there were dried substances on pillow cases and it was a lot of dust every where, hairs in beds trash/dirt in pullout chair. There is no sheets for the swiffer, no refill trash bags. I noticed a few scuff marks all of which I took pictures of and they are dated and tome stamped if you need to see them. The stay has been fine once we got things cleaned, just wanted you to know these things so you'll know how it was when we arrived. I let the owner know this prior to checking out and after I checked out she accused me of leaving it like this when I have time and date stamp pictures. Was hard to get in contact with during the stay when trying to make complaints and ask questions. Gave a number to call and no answer. Only called on the last day and that was from a different number than the one that was given. I currently have a claim filed. Falsely Accused us of messing up a foammattress, when no one slept on the beds because they weren't clean,breaking drawers and a decoration we never touched. SMH STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK! I suggest recording and take pictures when you arrive and upon checking out.Basic cable, can't rent movies,old tv, not able to watch any streaming services either. A dvd player is available.

This guest did have my phone number because she called for an early check in and the night before departing called for a 1:00 ck out. She left at 2:15 then said she had to stay longer to clean the unit. When she left I had to cancel the next guest coming in due to the condition she left the condo in. I have pictures but cannot attach. If anyone want to see them contact me. I have been renting units for 20 years and this was the dirtiest any guest have left any unit EVER. I sent the pictures to VRBO and asked to keep her deposit. A foam mattress had to be thrown away, and hours of cleaning. The above review is only because I contacted her after departure and asked VRBO to keep her deposit. No housekeeper should have to enter and clean a unit the way this guest left my unit. This guest cost me a lot of money between replacing items, paying housekeeping extra and canceling the next guest.

Spring Break 2022

Perfect for two adults and two kids. Beach and pool area were fantastic. Shopping, restaurants all within walking distance.

Best view around!

We really enjoyed our stay. Our kids age 10 & 12 took full advantage of the pools and lazy river (wish they were heated, being early Spring) but, kids are resilient. The balcony was by far my most favorite spot. The Best sunrise views and watching the ocean, just Breathtaking! The condo was clean and had everything we needed for a great Spring Break experience. This was our 2nd time at Wyndham Ocean Walk Daytona and we will definitely keep coming back. Thanks for allowing us a wonderful week away!

Good stay

It would have been a lot better had it not rained the entire time we were there. We still had a great view. Only other issue was having to smell the pot the people on the balcony two doors down were smoking.

2021 Spring Break

For the most part, the property was good! It accommodated mine and my family’s needs. The beds were great. The ocean and pool were right there for us. There were also plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The only thing we would say the property needs is a little updating. All in all, it was a nice place for my family!
