The perfectly positioned location of this Fairlie accommodation places you close to all of the local conveniences and fare. Head two-minutes by car to Eat Café or the famous Fairlie Bakehouse, for a tasty brekkie that’ll be sure to fuel you for the day ahead. There is also a local laundromat where you can do your washing.

When it’s time to hit the slopes, head 30 minutes by car to the Mount Dobson Ski Field or make the 50 minute journey to the Fox Peak Ski Field. Round Hill Ski Area is 1hr 15 minutes away and the Ohau Snow Fields are 1hr 45 minutes.

Snow Chalet is just half an hours drive from Tekapo if you want to enjoy the hot pools or ice skating and if you want to explore further then Aoraki/Mount Cook is just under two hours away.

For the keen boatie, Snow Chalet has covered boat parking for your vessel. Nearby Lake Opuha is only 13-minutes away by car, perfect if you're wanting a day on the lake with your crew.

If you’re keen on a hiking adventure with epic views, head 18-minutes by car to the starting point of the Four Peaks High Country Track.
