Located just 150 meters from the world-renowned, beautiful Bow River, this great 1980s half duplex with updated living spaces is seated in a very serene and developed area of Calgary. Right beside the river valley, we are a 30-second walk to a beautiful viewing area of the mountains and river that marks a central point for biking and walking paths that stretch far past downtown all the way out of the city towards Cochrane.

Super close to Market Mall, the Children’s Hospital, University of Calgary, Shouldice Pool and Park, Bowness Park and other essential amenities, SUMMIT & CITY STAY VRBO is located on a quieter street, providing guests with a peaceful stay while maintaining easy access to all that the heart of Calgary has to offer. We are also only a ten-minute drive from downtown Calgary, the Stampede grounds, and COP ski hill, and have quick and easy access to the Trans-Canada Highway, meaning that in under half an hour, you could find yourself driving into the glorious Rocky Mountains.

Sandwiched between the Rocky Mountains and downtown, our community of Montgomery truly is one of the best in the city to experience one of the most beautiful cities and national parks in the world! Awesome stay.

At first I feel like, I book instead in the hotel but when I get inside I feel like wow that was awesome and relaxing to stay. It feels like home.

Not to the expectations

Place with inadequate lights inside & outside. Wet and broken entrance pavement. lot of noise from downstairs tenants until 3 am, unable to sleep in sunken mattress in all rooms. no light at the entrance door. Had to use our phone torch. not worth a stay for the price that we paid. it was a rip off. bad coffee provided. Untidy entrance with bushes. TV fixed high over the head that gave everyone a neck pain. No full mirror in main room. One full mirror on another room but all rooms have very dim lights. Could not see our faces as well. Why no lights? we were not told about the poorly kept unit which looked like at least 40 yrs old. only kitchen floor was renovated. This place sucks. I would not recommend anyone to throw away their hard earned money. not happy with the stay at all.

The place was very clean and the inside of the house as shown in the pictures, very comfortable house. However, I don't know why there's a picture of the river. We were a total of 6 people and there was not enough coffee for everyone. No paper towel. No chairs for the balcony. Overall a nice place.

Location is awesome, place is ok

The location of this place is awesome, very convenient, close to the highway, the river walk, playground, and stores. The place itself was a little dated, and not the cleanest. I did contact the host and he assured me the place was cleaned prior to our arrival. My first impression was not the best, as there were toys laying in the front yard, kitchen and bathroom were not the cleanest. But for the price and location the place became home for a week and turned out to be good.

Comfortable home

We enjoyed our stay at this property with our three daughters. The home was cozy. The three bedrooms facilitated our family perfectly. Two washrooms are great when traveling with four females.

Great property, great host

I can’t say enough good about the host of this property. The place was 100% clean and well stocked. We had one minor issue at check in that the host went out of his way to solve immediately. Excellent communication and always incredibly friendly. About the property itself
 It is in an incredibly convenient location, close to hospitals, parks, grocery stores and more. It had more than enough room for our family for our stay. The only thing that I am saying in this review that could be remotely negative is that the ad says it is wheelchair accessible but it is not. We knew this before we arrived at the home and the owner is aware of the mistake in the ad but advised us that the system was not allowing it to be changed. I just thought I would mention that in case it was important to other guests.

Another great experience

Perfect spot. No drama and issues and highly recommend. Owner is currently working with VRBO to change an error in scoring for our family around house rules. As wanted 5 and not 0. We followed all rules and feel free to contact the owner to confirm.

Great little home

I stayed with a few friends and the place did it’s job. I don’t know if it was Calgary itself but when we got there is smelt of sewage. There was a value village tag still on 1 of the few towels. The master bedroom needs new non sheer curtains, but other than that it was great. Our communication with the owner was impeccable they answered right away for any questions I had and it was easy and contactless as he describes in the posting. It is a little dated but it is very roomy for 6. Lots of living space and the area is very nice and quiet.
