Great location

This place was amazing! Great location on the lake, the house was huge, and had a great layout. The game tables in the garage kept the kids busy for hours when they were done in the water.

Relaxing Lake Trip

We had a great stay at Saleh Manor, enjoying the views, peace and quiet, and all the convenient amenities. Our dogs loved the pace too! The property is well stocked and the hot was very helpful. Definitely a great place for families of all sizes!

Great place!

This is my second time at this beautiful place and I love it. Great house, wonderful lake and awesome host -Micah. Everything is as described and beyond. I will be back, probably this fall, for another week of fishing and relaxing. Thanks to Micah for making his place available.

Wonderful stay!

Perfect for our family vacation. Beautiful home with plenty of space on a beautiful, quiet lake. Everyone we spoke to or dealt with was super nice and helpful. Would definitely stay again! Pontoon rental was a great addition too!

Beautiful

The pictures don’t do it justice. We had an absolutely wonderful time. Plenty of space for everyone. The only drawback was my son didn’t catch any fish. Could not have asked for a more lovely place, so thank you!

Fantastic location on Lay Lake in Shelby, Alabama

Wonderful surroundings inside and outside with room for kids and adults to enjoy grilling marshmallow roasting, the pontoon, kayaking,., fishing, tubing and the beautiful scenery and wildlife!

Amazing Lake House

We had the best time here. Loved waking up to the views and watching all the boats go by. It was the perfect long weekend getaway we were looking for. Stocked with everything you could need. Very clean. Zero complaints. Thanks for a perfect stay 👏👏

The Absolute Best!

If you are coming to Lay Lake, or Shelby County at all this is by far the best place to stay. The lot is absolutely perfect on a peninsula on the main river channel with the best views from all sides, the house is breathtaking, and the representatives are super awesome and easy to deal with. I’d give 10 stars if I could. We will be booking again for our tournament next year I assure you if you get the chance you will not regret!

Beautiful house & lot

We loved everything about this house from the open floor plan, the cleanliness of the house, comfortable beds, amazing views from inside the house, the fire pit by the lake and the paddle board and kayaks. The host met us at the house to give us the boat keys and he was very personable and courteous. We enjoyed everything about our stay. Thank you!

Owner is great. Not same opinion of The Evolve team

I ended up not getting to go at all due to winter storm and there was no way me or any of my guest can make it. The owner of the property was very willing to work with me and help me out and even suggested that I called the vacation rental company to see if they can help unfortunately vacation rental place would not work with me, but like I said, the owner was very friendly and it helped me rebook.

Wonderfull!

The house is spacious, beautiful, and very, very clean and the views of the lake are wonderful and peaceful. The beds are very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit. If we are ever back in the area, we will be back.

Fantastic Family Time

This was our second stay at this beautiful lake house. The entire family, and grandkids, had a blast tubing, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. We had some of the most incredible sunrises and sunsets, after the latter we had a campfire and smores. The home is exceptionally clean and kept up. All amenities one might need or desire to have for an intimate getaway are there. Such a blessing to Lay Lake. We'll be back!

High School Fishing Tournament

We brought several boys down for a high school fishing tournament on Lay Lake. Our stay was perfect! There was tons of space for us! The boys enjoyed all of the fishing off the property and off of the dock! We had an amazing time and made tons of memories!! Would love to stay again in the future!

Beautiful Lakehouse

My husband, son and I surprised my dad for his 84th Birthday with a little vacation on the lake. We had a great time together making memories in your beautiful home! We loved the large rooms and especially the beautiful bathrooms and extra large showers. My mom cannot walk without assistance and has dementia. She needs to sit in her shower chair while I help bathe her. The extra large shower was so helpful for this! My husband and I especially loved that you left more than 1 trash bag and plenty of soap and toiletries. It was also great having more than one towel and one washcloth per guest. The snacks and coffee/tea station added a special touch. Thank you so much for being such generous and hospitable property owners. We definitely plan to visit again!

The Ultimate Lake House

My family loves to fish - and I (the mom) love the water and try not to think about the fish in it🤣. It's the best of both worlds in one magnificent spot😁. You can swim on one side and fish on the other! The views are amazing and the beds are VERY comfortable. We don't usually like sleeping away from home because that's not generally the case -- but huge win there!! We were in town for an archery tournament and we all couldn't have gone if we didn't find a dog friendly place to stay; so we are super grateful the owners love fishing and dogs. Luckily, they, also supply a vacuum and leaf blower😀. It was kinda a last minute adventure for us that we will always remember as the best adventure, ever.

Wow, what a fantastic place! Perfect for a large family getaway.

The perfect place! This home was beautiful! Fantastic location on the lake with beautiful yard and a nice fire-pit with comfortable chairs. Very spacious living areas with room for a large group with lots of seating. Large dining table and nicely outfitted kitchen (actually two)! Gated property with easy to use keypad entry. Our girls had plenty to do even though a mostly rainy stay as there is a nice pool table and fooseball table in the insulated garage. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very large and perfectly appointed. We are already planning our return for a summer get away so we can take advantage of the party barge and dock. Rent this home and you will not be disappointed!

Beautiful Lake House

House was beautiful with gorgeous views and was well equipped. Had everything you needed and more. Very well thought out. Staff was really nice and helpful and answered all our questions. Felt like you were on your own little island. Did not have any issues what so ever but was surprised of the surrounding neighborhood. A beautiful property to stay in, cook, relax, enjoy the view and all the amenities the property has to offer. We had 4 people but would also be great for a larger group and has another house on the property that is equally as beautiful. It was on the corner and had views from every angle. Peaceful, quiet, and relaxing.

Home Away From Home!

Our stay was Amazing! There is no other place we'll stay at Lay Lake then the Lighthouse.The panoramic views are breathtaking. The craftmanship of the home is impeccable.It's a spacious home yet it still feels warm and so peaceful.The house is fully equipped with everything you need. You won't be disappointed! There is no exaggerating with the photos. The home is beautiful and private.I'm not going to say it's a complaint. But, I wished the windows were clean.The windows in the family room and dining area are floor to ceiling. It's definitely a WOW FACTOR to look out those windows and see the lake.It's a beautiful sight to witness.With that being said, I'll be back. It's my second time at Lighthouse. I've had a summer and winter experience and loved them both.This December stay, the weather was sunny and warm. We were able to spend time on the pier. At night, we enjoyed being gathered around the firepit.Many wonderful memories have been made at the Lighthouse.The Host, Micah is great to work with and responds quickly.Thank you, Micah! We'll be back!
