Outstanding property and management

This is one of the best vacation rentals we have stayed in. The location is great with a quick drive into Boone and proximity to banner elk and other places of interest. It’s easy to access yet when you pull down the long driveway you are in a very beautiful and peaceful setting. The views from the backyard are spectacular especially at sunset. The front of the house as a nice big wrap around porch that is a great spot to hang out. Also, the Neighbors have sheep that you can watch as well, so that was an unexpected treat. The house itself was perfect. The layout is great with plenty of space for our two families and kids. It’s extremely clean and tastefully decorated with lots of thought out detail. The management was exceptional, making our trip super easy and enjoyable, and the owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It was a perfect place for us to spend the Fourth of July. Definitely hope to return for another stay!

Wonderful stay, unique & beautiful setting!

Quaint, modern farmhouse just outside of downtown Boone. Everything was provided to make this house feel like a home away from home. Bedding was exceptionally comfortable & roomy for all. Property was very clean & well maintained. Communication with the owner was seamless. Waking up to the sheep outside our window in the neighboring field was a treat each morning! Would definitely stay again!

A perfectly stocked STR. With an amazing view.

This home is what a true STR rental is supposed to be. The communication with the hosts was amazing. 5 STARS!! The amenities at this home were everything that it should be plus more. Just bring your suitcase and they have provided everything else that you would need to stay in this home to be comfortable. Comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen. They even provide the firewood for the fire pit outside, which was an amazing thing to have in the winter. We were lucky and had snow while we were visiting in December. The road to the home is easy to access. We actually stayed during a crazy, hard freeze, and there were no issues with the pipes freezing. This home is close to town but far enough away that you can enjoy the tranquility of being in the mountains. We will definitely be back to stay. We completely enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic!

We had a wonderful long weekend staying here. The owners were so helpful and friendly before and during our stay. The house is beautiful and was very comfortable for the 7 of us. We loved the rocking chairs on the porch, had a fun evening playing games around the dining room table, and enjoyed a night making s’mores at the fire pit. We will definitely stay here again!

Amazing home!

We had the best time enjoying this property. If you are looking for a beautiful home near Boone that will accommodate various sleeping needs, this is it. We had 5 people comfortable with 4 rooms, 3.5 baths, and 2 living areas. The home has been remodeled and the attention to detail and comfort for guests is obvious. Charming, super clean, stocked with a lot of comforts of home. Everyone loved their beds! Good parking, neighbors (sheep & humans) were friendly. We enjoyed peaceful yoga outside and s'mores! Owners were very prompt in communication when we had a question. Would love to go back!

Overall great stay!

We like to travel and have stayed in a lot of rental properties. This experience was right up there with the best of them. Overall the house was very clean, nicely decorated, just as described and fit two families comfortably. It’s the small touches that make stays stand out and the hosts provided a lot of these small but very much appreciated things such as extra trash bags, laundry pods, dish soap, firewood, q-tips, etc. The hosts were very timely on communications and went above and beyond with ways to make our stay more enjoyable.

This was a fantastic home for our family gathering! The house is nicely furnished, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and everyone had room to spread out. The owners are friendly and quick to respond. The home is secluded with great views of the outdoors, garden and fire-pit area. It’s close to Boone and local attractions. This home has everything! I visit Boone often and will definitely return and recommend to my family and friends to stay as well.

Excellent house for family vacation

Our family of five had a great time. Really enjoyed being beside the sheep field and having a beautiful garden and fire pit on the other side. The driveway provided a perfect place to play cornhole with the on-site cornhole boards. I loved having morning coffee in one of the numerous rocking chairs on the wrap around porch. The neighbor next door is very cool and insightful about the local land. I saw a wild turkey on the hillside behind the house the very first morning. Old logging road at top of ridge behind house will lead you to a beautiful view of grandfather mountain. House was very organized with everything you need to have a great time.

Host thought of everything!

Stayed for our daughters Graduation from APP State, great location to Boone. Property is peaceful and beautiful, we saw four deer on the hills. The hosts were very hands on and thought of everything you would need including fire wood and a starter, toiletries, TP, garbage bags. I did not have to pack all that misc stuff some rentals require even for just a weekend stay. Furnishings were very nice and comfortable, remodel of this home was professional. We will be back!

Highly Recommend!

All of the amenities provided at this house far exceeded any other house we've rented. The owners put much thought and attention to detail to anything their guests would need. All you need to pack are your clothes! The entire house was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. Nice open space and privacy to spend lots of time outdoors. The owner was prompt with responding to questions and truly made you feel like a welcomed guest!

Seriously impressed!

This rental cabin was absolutely fantastic. The beds were comfortable and felt like you were staying in a hotel. The kitchen was stocked with absolutely everything you would need (and more!). They left supplies for the week- including toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher tabs, laundry supplies.. even shampoos conditioners and soaps in the bathrooms! The fire was built and ready to go with a fire started log prepped. They even left the makings for s’mores. They didn’t cheap out on this house, like so many rentals you stay in. The front porch has several rocking chairs for your morning coffee and they have lights set up over picnic tables near the fire for your cocktails at night. It is set back from the busy road so our kids could run and play. There were even kid AND adult games to play. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Wonderful peaceful mountain house, beautifully decorated and well stocked!

We had an amazing time at this property. Great location, near Boone, Blowing Rock, skiing, tubing, etc! The home is on a large, quiet lot with walking trails in the back and big hills perfect for busy little boys to climb! The house is beautifully decorated and in pristine condition. Everything is provided that one could need, even fireside blankets :) We will certaintly be returning in the future.

Amazing modern farm house!

Our stay was nothing but magical on this spacious modern farm house tucked away on a mountain so close to downtown Boone. My family arrived and the kids took off up the mountain hills to the highest peaks and enjoyed playing outside all evening, an amazing fire pit was ready for us to enjoy throughout the evening. While cooking in the house I found everything I needed for every meal, the kitchen was shocked better then my home, the owner anticipated every need anyone would need in a kitchen. The layout is perfect for multiple families with bathrooms in every bedroom and 2 separate livingrooms so the kids could be downstairs playing games and the adults could enjoy a peaceful conversation space. The house was spotless and beautifully furnished, warm and inviting. This house is so close to all three ski/tubing resorts, downtown Boone, and everything anyone would want for an amazing mountain getaway, my family can not wait to book again!
