Formerly the Nokara Cottages, now the Jrenachy Vineyard. The Lake House cottage has 3 bedrooms. The front bedroom faces the lake and has a queen bed. The middle bedroom has 2 single beds and the third bedroom, which faces the vineyard, has a twin over double bunk-bed. The main room has a queen size pull out couch.
This cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, one bathroom with a shower. The open concept and large beamed ceiling provide a rustic and relaxed feel. Outside, you will find a private yard area equipped with a fire pit, a gas BBQ and a wrap around deck. Plenty of towels and linens are provided inside the cottage. The kitchen will be equipped with salt and pepper, oil, sugar, coffee and tea. The Lake House Cottage is situated at the back of a working vineyard overlooking Lake Ontario to the north, and vineyards to the south. We are in wine country and a 20 minute drive to both Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake. The quaint tourist village of Port Dalhousie, where the world famous Henley Regatta takes place, is about 2km away from us. Public transit is about 1km down the road as we are so close to the edge of town. Our cottages are a nice change from a hotel where you can relax and enjoy the outdoors like it is your own home away from home.
Dogs under 50 lbs may be allowed but must be approved by the host.
The cottage is equipped with a Roku for the tv so you can log into your streaming services such as Netflix and Disney +
Fabulous location. Near the lovely Port Dalhousie and Niagara on the Lake and Niagara Falls. Cottage is as marketed. Good size and everything you could need for a weekend break.
We were a party of 5âŠ2 couples and one adult child. As advertised, this is a cottage in a vineyard and right on the shore of Lake OntarioâŠvery close to amenities in Port Dalhousie and St Catharines. It is as lovely as it sounds and came well equipped with everything we needed. Breathtaking view. We had a fabulous stay and would happily stay here again.
The Lake House cottage is a wonderful place to enjoy for a short stay vacation.
Situated at the end of a vineyard lane with a handful of cottages at a comfortable distance. Overlooking Lake Ontario, wonderful vineyards at your front door. The cottage is clean and well equipped with your basic needs. Will return!
The cabins , linens and towels were very clean. Beds were comfortable. Cozy furnishings. Kitchen stocked with basics for lite cooking. Barbecues were great. All cabins are lakefront with beautiful views. They are at back of a quiet vineyard. Walk to Port Dalhousie in about 30 minutes.
My only comment would be that outdoor furniture needs a good power washing.
Overall a great place to stay! Would not hesitate to return.
We booked this little Lakehouse cottage for 4 nights the long weekend in May 2023! It ended up being a little cheaper than booking 3 rooms for 3 nights at a local Best Western and allowed us to all be together in one roomy place! It is located on a quiet stretch of property on the shores of Lake Ontario close to Port Dalhousie and set within acres of vineyards! The cottage was both cozy and roomy with 3 bedrooms for our family of 6 including a sizeable bathroom with nice shower and hot water!! Kitchen had Adequate kitchen utensils and dishes and cooking pots and pans and a dishwasher! The view is amazing! Loved being on the shores of Lake Ontario! This was a perfect choice for us as some were attending the St. Catharines Collegiateâs 100th Anniversary and some were visiting the falls! The Lakehouse cottage provided us with comfortable beds, crispy clean sheets, couches and chairs inside and cozy outdoor deck chairs! Adequate dishes, cooking utensils and basics for cooking! The fish flies were abundant but didnât stop us from sitting outside! This little place was a great place to meet up after busy days! Canât wait to come back again!
It was lovely. Great vineyard getaway over looking the water.
Comfortable sitting area around the fire.
Cottage was perfect for our sleeping needs, meals and gathering in the living room.
Everything was new, tasteful and stocked well.
Host was accommodating and communicative.
It was close to NOTL.
Quiet and perfect for our girls getaway.
Thank you for a great stay.
Great compact but very comfortable cottage. Clean and stocked with a number of necessities Backs onto a vineyard and overlooks Lake Ontario with a view of the Toronto skyline in the distance. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful; but youâre not far from a bustling beach community with good restaurants and shops just a few kilometres down the road. We stayed for just two nights but felt totally refreshed and rested when we left.
