Disappointed Once Again
Rating Details:
The property manager was very unhelpful.
The vacation rental was very clean.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

Once again, the property manager this year, and last, instantly proved to be insensitive to customer wants and needs. Last year, the property manager was parked her car in the unit’s assigned space, therefore upon arrival it was the customer who by necessity was forced to park in a space where they could be towed or pay for parking in Truman Waterfront Park. When braced by the customer, the property manager replied, “Well, where else could I park?” That’s just what a customer wants to hear after the trials of traveling all day; a property manager willing to inconvenience the customer so as she isn’t.This year, we arrived at noon to find our unit open and being cleaned. The cleaner kindly allowed us to enter, drop off our bags and quickly change into climate appropriate clothing. The property manager, with whom I had been communicating via text, appraising her of our arrival, was clearly upset her day’s schedule had changed, reminded me once again that check-in was 4pm but she was on her way over to do her “walk thru.” Once she arrived, the customer informed her that the cleaning staff kindly let us in to which the property manager replied, “I know, I told her not to let you in!” That’s some customer service right there!The condo had buckling floors, cheap appliances, expired light bulbs and a malfunctioning ice maker (maybe, 30 small cubes in two weeks).My advice is to avoid this rental firm. Go with Compass Realty with whom we’ve often been pleased.
