We stayed for 2 nights 3 days and overall the location was nice. There was a lot of rooms and beds, and the house was looking really neat. We had a beach infront of us for a nice view. We enjoyed being 10 mins or under to casino, tim hortons, and many other restaurants and attractions. However, We have wished the host had faster responses, although they made sure every message was replied back to. We also wished the backyard lawn was cut so we could have used the place for some physical activities but wasnât our biggest worry. Would I book here again if I was to come to ajax? Absolutely Yes!!
For what we paid we expected a a clean space with ample seating, dishware, pillows, proper towels etc. what we got was a run down, poorly furnished, garbage infused, dirt riddled home that made us concerned of the cleanliness of sheets, towels and pillows. First thing we had to do on arrival was clean the food that had rotted in the fridge. The second thing we did was get propane for the faulty bbq. The bed was broken, the recycling was spilling all over the outside of the garage and the garage itself was full of garbage bags from the front to the back and up to the ceiling. The house also has a strange Oder and the linen smelt musty and unkept. The area is gorgeous. The proximity to the beach and trails is second to none. But the price either needs to come down to match expectations or some serious Reno and investments should be made. The host was very responsive until we checked in. With messages sent asking about the fridge, bbq, check out instructions we were left with unread messages and no communicationWe have stayed in air bnbâs all over the world with zero complaints. This is our first vrbo. We are very disappointed.
My friends and I had a great time staying at this place. With the beach across from the house, to electric scooters available for rental, there is many to do.
We are a family of 5 with 3 energetic boys. My wife and myself are Brock Alumni and working in the Finance industry. We love travelling and outdoors. We have tried our best to create a homely environment in nature and hope that you love this place as much as we do!
