A great place to stay for a family get away , lots of space, awesome outside area with a large lawn.
Great location, hop skip and jump away from the main beach, look out, walk ways and fishing spots. Thank-you for letting us stay we all had a great family holiday âșïž
The property suited our needs nicely. Good wood burner was useful for the cooler weather, plenty of dry firewood on hand. Nice modern kitchen and lounge area with plenty of space. Enjoyed stay
This property is perfect for a family or group of friends holiday.
It was great to arrive after a long drive to find everything so clean and tidy. It would be great in the winter too with the wood burner.
My dog and I were looking for a break, and it was lovely to find this spacious, secure property in an attractive township with the two beaches nearby - the house, the section and the location meant that I could fully relax without worrying about the dog - who enjoyed the break as much as I did!
Thanks for a great stay in Opunake: the constantly changing sight of Mt Taranaki out the window; beautifully mown, big back lawn for ball-chasing dog; best frying pan I've encountered in a bach. Appreciated being given the option of parking inside the perimeter fence, especially on arrival in pouring rain! Craig was an excellent host communicating promptly. Also enjoyed bath, log burner and bbq (though we needed to clean off previous occupants' grease and empty ashes before starting the fire. Also one couch had lost a few springs/inner padding) These were anomalies though in an otherwise very clean, tidy, well presented place.
The property managers are great communicators. It was a good spot for a friend and I with a couple of dogs. Always nice to find a good place that allows for you to bring the dogs!
Iâd stay again - clean and tidy, fire to keep warm and not far from the beach and shops.
Great bach, spacious and clean with an awesome backyard and walking distance to the beach. Only improvement would be a few more utensils in the kitchen - we were a group of 8 and there weren't enough forks or bowls for us all to eat at the same time. Apart from that we loved our stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay the house is open and has a relaxing to stay in. We may come back sometime in the future. The weather didn't play ball only got a glimpes of the mountain on Monday coming back from Whanganui. It was a great stay myself and my wife enjoyed the atmosphere.
