Experience breathtaking natural beauty in the heart of the Kootenays. This enchanting, mystical geodesic dome has amazing acoustics and is surrounded by cedar forest and a flowing creek.
Features a full kitchen, clean bathroom, tub and shower; and ample space for movement, yoga, or meditation. Stay warm by the fire and listen to the sounds of the flowing creek, far from the bustle of modernity. A writer or artist's dream!
Sitting outside, you'll be comforted and soothed by the sound of the bubbling creek.
This is an ideal retreat for restoration, decompression, relaxation, or healing; intentionally tucked away from the electromagnetic smog of modernity. All rooms are television free. Cell signals are only available by walking down the driveway. Wifi is available upon request, however.
The kitchen features a great gas stove, spacious refrigerator, and a nice sink for handwashing. There is no dishwasher, however.
We chose to maximize open floor space for movement and to utilize floor seating and cushions instead of normal couches.
Close to world class hiking, skiing, and backcountry adventure in the awe-inspiring old growth ecosystems and glacier of Kokanee Provincial Park .
The dome is only a 30 minute drive from the charming art town of Nelson and 45 minutes to the quaint town of Kaslo. 10 minutes from the Balfour ferry to Crawford Bay artisans.
