Perfection at the Point

I loved this oceanfront condo in Cherry Grove! It was clean and had everything we needed. Check in was easy and location was wonderful! Will stay again!

The condo is exactly as pictured. A few things to note - there is a pretty significant crack in the ceiling of the primary bedroom, there are no overhead lights in the other two bedrooms, the tv remote in the primary bedroom doesn't work other than turning the tv on and off (you can't access the apps with the universal remote, but you can if you borrow the one from the living room but then whoever is watching tv in the living room is then without a remote). The condo is dated but is very roomy and serves it's purpose. Having an elevator made unloading/loading the car very easy. The property also has luggage carts and grocery carts, which was very helpful when unloading & stocking up on groceries for the week. Pool closes @ 8. It wasn't very clean. The bathtubs had not been thoroughly cleaned, the fan in the primary bathroom was caked in dust and there was a ton of dust and dirt under the furniture. We also accidentally left one of my toddler's toys there and the host said the cleaning group would contact us if they found it but I haven't heard a thing from them. I'm 99.9999% sure the toy fell underneath the couch and we forgot to grab it when packing up. Not a huge deal, but kind of disappointing that more effort wasn't made esp. when I'm willing to pay to mail it back. They obviously don't typically clean under the furniture as we could obviously tell, so I highly doubt they made the effort to look for our lost item. If I hear back, I'll gladly edit that part of my review.

We sincerely apologize for the cleanliness issues you encountered. The condition of the bathtubs, the dust buildup on the bathroom fan, and the dirt underneath the furniture are not the standard we expect for our guests. We will be sharing these concerns with our housekeeping team and the appropriate parties so they can be addressed. We’re also sorry about the issues with the primary bedroom TV remote and the lack of overhead lighting in the additional bedrooms. We understand how inconvenient it is to have to borrow another remote just to access the TV apps, and we’ll make sure these maintenance concerns are brought to the appropriate team’s attention. We also appreciate you bringing the ceiling crack to our attention so it can be evaluated. Regarding your toddler’s toy, we completely understand your disappointment. We’re sorry you have not yet received an update and will make sure your comments are passed along so the cleaning team can check for the missing item. We certainly understand that you would be willing to cover the cost of having it mailed back. Thank you again for your honest feedback. Comments like yours help us identify areas where we can improve, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you and your family with a better experience in the future.

We loved the location! At low tide the walks were wonderful because the inlet would open up to a large island like escape from the crowds. We would walk for hours on this sandy island without knowing we had been out there that long. The kids loved the small pools that were created at low tide. Our stay was perfect from the condo to the weather! Would stay here againâ£ï¸

The views of the Point in Cherry Grove are magnificent from the oceanfront balcony as well as ...

The views of the Point in Cherry Grove are magnificent from the oceanfront balcony as well as from the den and dining area. The condo is clean, decorated nicely and the kitchen is well stocked. The only issue we had was with the bathrooms. Both full baths had very steep sides as they were jacuzzi style which made it a little challenging to get in and out. This would definitely be a problem for people with mobility issues. In addition the bottom of the tub was very slippery. We ended up purchasing a bath mat to lessen the chance that we fall. We had an issue with the air conditioner and it had to be replaced. That was taken care of quickly. We would definitely stay here again,.

The only complaint is having to check in at the office, I like getting the information (lock code) by email and if pool key wanted then go by the office for a key - we never used it. And, the king bed could be much softer it is like sleeping on the pavement- no joke. Otherwise, our stay was perfect from the condo to the weather! Would stay here again❣️
