FULL DESCRIPTION

Welcome to Villa Sola!! You are right in the middle of the action, close to downtown Bradenton, Beaches, and Sarasota.
Upon entering this spacious private home you are greeted with the formal dining and living room with comfortable sofas and a chair. The family room has a large leather sofa and large flat-screen TV which is perfect for watching your favorite programming or movies. This open concept area has a breakfast table and access to the kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with stainless steel appliances and has everything you need to make delicious meals at home. The highlight of this home is the screened-in lanai with a private pool which has lush green plants for privacy and can be heated for a fee of $35 plus tax per day. Outdoor dining table, wall-mounted TV, ample seating, BBQ grill, and ambient lighting makes this outdoor space make you feel like you are in a five-star resort. The beaches are one of the reasons you came and they are just minutes away!! Anna Maria Island/Bradenton beaches are a 15-minute drive west on Cortez Road. If you are looking for more beach adventure, Lido Beach and the famous Siesta Key beaches are also a short car ride away.

This comfortable private pool home is located just 5 minutes from downtown Bradenton. Downtown Bradenton is on the Manatee River and has bars, restaurants, and Village of the Arts. The Village of the Arts is an eclectic live-work community made up of colorful historic cottages that house everything from award-winning restaurants to specialty shops, studios, healing arts, bakeries, and Bradenton’s best art galleries. The Sarasota/Bradenton airport is a 19-minute drive (9.6 miles) south and downtown Sarasota and St Armands Circle are about 27-minute drive south which is a great place to watch a sunset from a rooftop bar with causal and upscale dining and shopping. You will also find dining options in nearby Longboat Key, Bradenton Beach, and Anna Maria Island which all have great places to eat and things to do by the beach. The home is centrally located to I-75 to take quick trips to Tampa or Orlando areas.

Good But Be AWARE .......
The house was clean, spacious, and in a quiet neighborhood. Be aware that the thermostat is locked and will not go lower than 72 degrees which is not a problem during the day, and we usually had it set to 74-75 during the day, but the master bedroom has insufficient air flow and was too warm for sleeping, especially when there are a non-breathable mattress protectors on the bedding, understandibly, but therefore we were uncomfortable and too warm. The management company (itrip vacations-Debi) was very responsive to our needs, was not aware of the locked thermostat, and called the owner who refused to unlock it for our comfort during our 2 week stay. We also had an aunt problem in the bathroom sinks and showers. They were tiny black aunts and a few large black ones crawling about inside the house. There also were tiny red aunts outside around the pool that bite! The management company did get an exterminator out to treat the inside and outside but not until our 5th day there. We were happy with the management company but not with the issues and the owner. The management company did update the listing to reflect the locked thermostat. The home is 12 min to beautiful Bradenton beaches and there is much to see and do around the area.

Lovely home, but needs some attention
The price was good & the furniture/beds very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, but more storage containers would have been nice. The all-glass kitchen table had a folded paper plate under a leg to keep it from wobbling & is not family friendly. The house was clean except for the floors. My granddaughter's legs were filthy from crawling around the 1st day we arrived, so we washed them. The listing isn't accurate in some regards. The yard/pool is not private, & the waterfall doesn't work. Pictures show more chairs than there were on the patio. The guest rooms have full-size beds, not queen, & no end tables/lamps. The bedroom furniture is pretty, but all have drawers that don't open/shut easily or fall down. They do have nice large closets with plenty of hangers. The MBR has patio blinds with a missing section. We couldn't fit our modest Hyundai SUV in the two car garage unless someone made sure it cleared the door and didn't hit the washer/dryer. I can't imagine two cars in there side by side. There are only 6 bath towels, more are needed. The LR patio doors need shades; the next door neighbors can see inside. The house is on a cul-de-sac, but behind it is a trailer park with neighbors that can see & hear you when you're in the pool. Our vacation was certainly not ruined by any of these things, and I am not suggesting it's not worth renting. I am suggesting a more honest listing, a better cleaning, & a few updates. The host was very pleasant! We love AMI!

Beach Vacay House
The house was very spacious for our family and close to the beaches and stores. Check in and out was very easy and all promised amenities were there. We loved the pool, but the mosquitos were horrible and we had to buy spray to put down outside so that we could enjoy the pool. There were even mosquitos in the house when we arrived. I would suggest some more bowls / platters for serving meals. I added a few pieces of silverware and some storage bowls to the cabinets. I also had to purchase towels for the week- there was only 6 towels total for my family of 5, 6 wash cloths and 6 hand towels. There were a few beach towels there for the pool which was nice but I am thankful that we brought beach towels with us. Those are minor inconveniences, the house was well kept and comfortable. We would stay there again if we return to the area for vacation.

It’s the pool for us
Good central location. Didn’t venture off property on foot, as some nearby streets and homes were iffy and not knowing the neighborhood. Pool area had all we needed with tv/grill/lizards and privacy. We were 15 minutes from some awesome beaches and 3 min drive to all shops we needed. Beds were super comfy as well. Overall beautiful home and great communication w Debi, the property mgr.
