Custom Home in Pointe West- Stellar views!

This home boasts a gorgeous back porch with pristine views of the Galveston Bay. A great bonding place for families. Spacious gourmet kitchen with granite counter-tops and stainless-steel appliances. The home features high ceilings that create a very spacious feel. There is a cut path leading to the bay! Great for wade fisherman! This home has an outdoor shower for rinsing the salt and sand off after a long day of beaching/fishing. There are smart TVs in all bedrooms. This home sleeps 10. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR! STAIRS ARE REQUIRED FOR ACCESS.

PLEASE NOTE. ADDITIONAL ACTIONS REQUIRED!

A Security Deposit hold of $800 is required on a credit card.

No access is granted without a rental agreement being signed by guests and approved by Coastal Waves Vacations LLC - even if paid in full. We require your mailing address, names and ages of all individuals staying at the home, vehicle information, and full pet information for pet-friendly homes. (This home is not pet friendly).

NO PETS ALLOWED.

Guests must be 25 years or older to reserve, must occupy the property during the rental period, and be the person responsible for the group. Individuals may not rent on behalf of others.

No events, prom, graduation, or parties of any sort with prior written approval. Additional fees may apply. Most single-family homes on the beach are built on pilings. Guests must climb a full set of stairs to reach the first floor/main living area. Coastal Waves Vacations has no control over the functionality of elevators. Pointe West Beach Club

Cancellation: Guest receives 100% (Of what was paid minus the cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs more than 90 days before arrival; Guest receives 50% (Of what was paid minus cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs more than 30 days before arrival; No refunds.

Spend a wonderful day at the pool or beach at the luxurious Pointe West Beach Club. Pointe West offers numerous amenities including, an infinity pool, children's pool, lazy river closed until 1/15/2023(heated in Winter), fitness center, on-site beach rentals, and restaurant. The Resort is independently run and charges $25 per person, (4 years or older) year-round. The use of the Beach Club is optional. The access fee is paid by credit card or cash directly to the Beach Club and is not included in rental rates.

The community is easily walkable. Golf Carts are a great way to get around as well. However, golf carts, dune buggies, or any other types are vehicles are not allowed on Galveston beaches, dunes, or wetlands; this is city law!

We Require Addresses, Photo ID, A selfie, Names and ages of all guest occupying the property. and the person responsible for the group. Individuals may not rent on behalf of others.

Great House!

We had a great stay here. The house was the perfect size for our group of 9. Easy drive to the Beach Club and the beach. I highly recommend!

The Perfect Place for a Relaxing Stay

Bayside High was perfect for our family of 6 including children of all ages. The location on the bay is very quiet and the large rear balcony is a great place to relax. The house is very clean and had all of the kitchen we needed. We rented a golf cart from a local rental company and enjoyed easy access to the Pointe West Beach and Bay Club. This is our fourth time to stay at Pointe West and every trip has been perfect. We highly recommend Bayside High and Pointe West!

A Must Stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at your place! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. With ten of us (7 adults and 3 children), we were delighted to find such a spacious and comfortable home. The kids loved spending time in the two pools. We loved having the different options that kept everyone entertained. Loved the beautiful views. Sunset was amazing. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to cook for our large group. We vacation once a year (typically in this area) and rent properties for our whole family. Your home is definitely one of the best we've stayed in. . Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great house on the bay!

This is a great house right on the bay! Very comfortable and clean. It was fun to walk out to the bay behind the house and go fishing! We would definitely rent this house again!

Surpassed our expectations! Master bedroom was terrific.

I really enjoyed the house and it's amenities. Would suggest you not skimp on paper products (toilet paper, kleenex, paper towels, etc), Cooking was very easy and we were able to host dinner for extended family staying in the same vicinity.

Perfect for our needs

Overall, the property was perfect for our family’s needs. It is probably the nicest home we have used in Galveston and offered enough space for everyone to enjoy. Prefer upgraded plates and non-Roku television, but those were very minor issues.

Great place to stay!

Big beautiful house with plenty of room for the 10 of us. West Bay can be viewed off the porch and is easy to walk to and see all sorts of wildlife. We saw countless birds, hermit crabs, blue crabs, stone crabs, sting rays, and fish in the bay. Both resort pools are within a mile of this location. Restaurant at the resort was reasonably priced compared to other places I have stayed in the past. This location was about 25 minutes from downtown Galveston and there was not much traffic at all. The only negative thing was the mosquitoes were really really bad. Not sure if it was the time of year of it they are always bad by the bay. Had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful home but had several issues

The home is beautiful, views are gorgeous, has a great layout and decorated nicely. I didn't think there would be any issues. None of the TVs worked. The management company sent someone, and he couldn't fix it. He came back the next day and fixed the downstairs TVs and not the upstairs. When we asked for someone to come back, they never came and didn't return our call. Those TVs didn't work the entire weekend. Normally not a big deal except we have huge sports fans who wanted to watch college ball. Kitchen looks stocked until you cook. No pasta fork, spatulas, no hot pads, only two pots with no lids - not even adequate to make spaghetti, at least 1 extra trash bag would be nice, trash can was filthy, 3 roaches in the bunkroom and lots of dead bugs in the bathtub in the king bedroom upstairs. We have been staying at PW for well over a decade in houses and condos and usually have no issues. I expected more from this upscale property.

not what we expected

The house was beautiful, well furnished, the layout is perfect for a big family and the view of the bay is breathtaking. But, unfortunately, that is where our positive reviews end. The cleaning crew was still there an hour after check in and we had to wait in the drive way. They left the doors open while they cleaned and the house was hot when we walked in. Fridge was dirty, carpet dirty. We noticed water on the top 4 stairs so dangerous and kept coming back. Trashes outside full and smelled when we arrived. House smelled like smoke the whole time we were there. The smoke alarm in the upstairs king bedroom chirped off and on our whole stay and no one came to fix it. The management co told me 'it was probably a short.' The air vents were all dirty and clogged making the house not cool properly. We called and someone came and changed one vent, but nothing else. We were really disappointed bc all our issues were maintenance or cleaning. We have stayed in a lot of vrbo's and have issues here and there--and they have always been addressed in a timely manner. Not here. We won't stay in another property managed by Coastal Waves again.

Excellent for Our Family Getaway

The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the check-in instructions were very clear. The driveway was large enough to comfortably fit our vehicles, the beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was spacious. The house is positioned so you get excellent views of the sun rising and setting from both the front and back porches. If you stay here and plan to cook, be sure to bring your own food containers as the house did lack in this area. We were able to enjoy a much-needed family gathering where we all felt comfortable but had enough space to stay out of each other's hair as well!

Bayside beauty

The view is breathtaking from almost every window in this house. There was an issue with the hot water heater that was taken care of in a timely manner. I cook and could have used one more pan and larger pot as well as a cookie sheet. Maybe list on the house Amenities what pots and pans the house has so people know what to bring. Other than that it was a great stay!

Relaxing Weekend at Bayside High

My family really enjoyed our weekend at Bayside High in Pointe West! The house is brand new, nicely furnished, and has beautiful views of the bay. We slept really well on the comfy beds, enjoyed meals on the back porch, and were amazed by the sunsets on the front porch. We can’t wait to come back!!!
