Step back in time and immerse yourself in a bygone era. This quaint 1907 cottage Idlewylde Blackheath beckons you to relax, unwind and live life as it should be. Enjoy a wine in front of the fire or a craft beer out the back all whilst cooking up a storm on "Bug" the BBQ.
Take advantage of a simple 100m walk into town and stumble home if your thirst requires. Close to all the great restaurants and drinking holes an absolute cracking base for all your Blue Mountain adventures. J.A.M.S Escapes.

Blackheath is a peaceful mountain town that is close to and or has a multitude of outstanding reasons to visit.. Here are some reasons to come....

Getting around is easy, parking is pretty plentiful in most locations around the town and nearby suburbs / attractions so driving yourself is a walk in the park.
Also if your staying at Idlewylde you have the luxury of only being 200m from the train station which stops at all local towns and can even take you all the way into the city.
Also only 150m from the Taxi rank which always has taxis available, or why not ring them and get picked up at the front door

1907 Cottage which is filled with history. As soon as you walk in you feel like you have stepped back in time but bringing all the mods and cons with you!! (Air Cons, Heated Blankets, Ovens and Microwaves, TVs and DVDs, Music and even Computer games for the kids). Only 100m from town you are a simple to walk to all Blackheath's bars, pubs, restaurants and cafes.
