The second bedroom has a double bed. Laundry and free Wi-Fi are at your fingertips. Our clean, well-kept home is safe and securely nestled close to Tim Hortons, McDonald’s, Costco, Walmart, Canadian Superstore, beautiful trails, 11 minutes from YMCA, 18 minutes from the airport, 16 minutes to Canada Olympic Park and numerous amenities.

Cozy and comfortable

Our stay was great. The place is cozy, beds are comfy, kitchen has everything you need and the shower was good as well. Owners are friendly and communcation was easy and fast. Recommend it!

Comfortable and clean

We were there for a family wedding and it was a good place for our needs. It was easy access to shops and places we needed to get to.The host replaced the mattress in the second bedroom when we advised him it was not comfortable. It was quite hot in Calgary at that time, but the suite had central air so was cool.

Would not recommend due to condition of beds

Our stay could have been a 5 star rating had it not been for the inaccurate description of the queen bed mattress which said was new. It was extremely soft and sagged except for around the edges. The 2nd bedroom mattress was very soft to the point of feeling springs. The owner was receptive to our needs for more towels as only were provided 2 towels for 5 guests. We left one day before checkout due to the pain experienced by the poor quality of beds. I trust that the owner will provide 2 comfortable mattresses before renting this unit again as he seemed unaware of the problem until we notified him.

Disappointment

We booked the property for my daughters wedding as we had recently moved to another city. Our 20 year old cat needed medication and we could not find a cat sitter in our new city. i called and pleaded with the owners to let me bring him (he literally does nothing but sleep when we are not around) but they denied to let us bring him even though I promised to clean, said we would pay extra. I then asked for a refund due to mitigating circumstances and was told they did not get the money I had to contact VRBO. Tried several times to contact VRBO with regards to this and the site has a place it says to contact regarding refunds but even after MANY attempts it would not take me to the spot. So this review is 2 fold, dissapointment in the owners for not understanding and the same for VRBO for not having an actual spot on the website that works for requesting refunds. Needless to say, we are out the money for the rental and had to rent a hotel room on top of that.

Wonderful

We had an excellent family stay at this accommodation. Warm welcome, clean and well-equipped, and ideally located. The rooms are comfortable, and the neighborhood is quiet. We highly recommend this place for a successful vacation.

Need to improve

Good day, we did stay in this accommodation and the location was strategic for your trip, however it need to improve kitchen (oven dirty, coffee maker with water inside, broken dishes), bathroom problems (water stuck in the bathtub/sink, toilet paper holder came off), 2nd bedroom the bed and floor tiles was making lot of noise. Hope you improve for future guest.

I had the pleasure of staying at this accommodation for a week, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The property was impeccably clean, which made my stay very comfortable. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, providing excellent service throughout my visit. Additionally, the accommodation is very affordable, making it a great value for the price. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for anyone looking for a pleasant and budget-friendly stay.

We had a lovely stay at this suite! Tosan, the host, was very responsive and his willingness to assist is much appreciated! We also appreciate having an extra bed for our 5th person as well as having to use the laundry machines. The suite is spacious, clean, and located near to shopping centres—very convenient! I would’ve given it 5 stars but the towels provided in the suite were still damp. We had to wash and dry them on our first night and the pillows in the bedroom are a little too thin. Not really a big deal but something to look over for the next guests maybe? Anyhow, we really enjoyed our stay (although we are out most times in a day) and I would recommend this to anyone, especially if you’re a group, when visiting Calgary!

A great family friendly rental property to stay in Calgary

I had an amazing experience staying in this place. Its a great property for family. The owner took special care to make sure every essentials are available. I stayed there with my 2 year old toddler. Its kid friendly. The kitchen setup is great. The owner provided supplemental heating units so that it feels like main floors, large windows. Location is awesome, great view, 5 min to major retail units like costco and walmart, abundant parking, check in check out was smooth with keyless door lock. Moreover the owner was humble and communicated to make sure everything in order. We loved it.

Not the best....

The apartment was clean, decor was nice. However, if you are hoping to get a good night sleep, this is not the place. The beds are horrible. Dilapidated foam "mattress" in the main bedroom, ancient coil spring mattress in the second bedroom. After the first night we discussed leaving and going to a hotel. The kitchen is not equipped enough to cook, therefore we ate out every meal. The electric kettle needs replacing; it was thick with mineral deposits. Only one pot in the kitchen and it was pitted with burned food. Stop at the store before arriving to buy your own kleenex, body wash, coffee pods. Street parking is limited. The house is located far from the airport and Calgary attractions. This little apartment is cute but could be so much more with some thoughtful effort. And finally, communication - I emailed a few days before arriving to ask about bringing my own coffee pods based on a review I had read of their place - I had no response from the owner.

We were on the go a lot for our brief visit to Alberta and this property suited our needs perfectly. The location at the edge of the city allowed us to easily navigate to the rural areas we needed to get to. We are introverts so being able to communicate online with the host was appreciated. The unit was lovely and clean, and equipped with everything needed to function well (kitchen appliances, utensils, cookware, laundry facilities, towels, etc, etc). The bed was very comfortable with nice linens. Easy to access garbage bins were available (we hope we put things in the proper bins for recycling). The host graciously permitted us to have company visit us at the unit as we are from Atlantic Canada and it was difficult to meet up with everyone we wished to see. Thank you for that! We could occasionally hear the children upstairs or someone entering the main house but it was never an issue as it was everyday life sounds. We felt safe and secure here and would definitely stay again.

Our review - Symons Valley

We stayed for 5 nights with another couple and found the location very handy to the airport, amenities and shopping. Location was easy to find and parking was plentiful on the street. Below we offer our in depth review as it impacted our stay: GOOD: - Modern finishings - Kitchen decently stocked with dishes for 4 but not a party any larger / ample cooking pots & utensils - Host was very responsive to questions - Listing photos were true to actual rental BAD - Sparse comfy furniture for a party of 4 ( not sure how it would accommodate 6) - No instructions at all except for the wifi / check out instructions were not provided so unsure of what was required to not risk further billing - Keurig shown in the listing but no pods provided / just a kettle and instant coffee (host did offer to reimburse for pods if we purchased) UGLY - Check in delayed as the cleaner was running behind / Needed to make the beds after we arrived / Not very clean @ check in / floor was full of hair & dirt / most dishes were dirty and had to be washed prior to use including the only grease filled cooking sheet / excessive dirt along window sills located at eye level / mold or dirt around ceiling vents / windows very difficult to open / horrible odor in suite - No top sheet between the comforter & your body - Excessive noise from upstairs early every morning which was disruptive to our comfort and sleep (should list children occupy directly above the suite)

We had a very comfortable stay, newly renovated suite, access to outdoor space.We forgot an item, and our host immediatley responded and shipped out to us. Would recommend! Only one suggest a few more kitchen towels.
