Cette belle maison moderne et lumineuse est un paradis d’été pour Sun Valley. Il se trouve à seulement 18 minutes des restaurants et des magasins de Ketchum et de la station balnéaire de Sun Valley, et à seulement 12 minutes de la ville de Hailey et de l'aéroport, mais constitue un monde à part. Avec une vue imprenable sur Baldy et les montagnes environnantes, il a la vie privée et la tranquillité de sorte que vous pouvez obtenir loin de tout. Il possède un magnifique patio idéal pour prendre des cocktails au coucher du soleil et des dîners à la table en plein air. Il est également possible de faire de la randonnée, de la natation, de la pêche et du vélo en été, ainsi que de la luge et du ski en hiver. Il y a une table de ping-pong et une salle de jeux pour s'amuser en famille. La salle de bain principale a une baignoire avec vue ainsi qu'une douche à vapeur, la cuisine a des appareils Thermador et deux lave-vaisselle, et la table de salle à manger de style banc se trouve facilement 10. Il y a même 8 poulets amicaux dans la serre voisine si vous voulez des œufs frais du matin. We absolutely loved our stay here. The setting is breathtaking, the house gorgeous while feeling like a home. We loved feeding the chickens, hanging out in the great room drinking tea/coffee, dinners in the evening by the fire (incredible fireplace), and just enjoying the gorgeous landscape. Hilary is an excellent host, so accommodating and responsive. Haley is close for groceries and other needs. We feel lucky to have stayed here and hope to come again!

Beautiful, Quiet, Perfect for Socializing

We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend at this beautiful, quiet home. The layout of the home encourages socializing, with the open kitchen and great room area. The surrounding views were stunning from every room and area in the home. Hilary was incredibly responsive and answered all my questions quickly. The chickens were an unexpected highlight. We would absolutely return.

Escape to the mountains

A quick 10-15 minutes from Haily, this gorgeous house is in total isolation. We loved having the feeling of being totally removed from everything. Very peaceful. There is no hot tub, but a large bathtub in the master bathroom. Hopefully that will be fixed in the listing as it was the reason we chose this particular house.

This home, property, and host are excellent!

The pictures do not do it justice and cannot capture the peace and quiet. The home: Extremely comfortable with enough room for a large family to have their own space. Kitchen is fully equipped and dining room table big enough to have family meals or play games. Outdoor space: Perfect views and peaceful. Spent hours sitting on the front lawn enjoying the absolute quiet with only the breeze in the grass and leaves (never experienced that before). The view out front is unmatched with the view of the valley with the Sawtooth backdrop. We spent every evening watching the sun fall away to reveal an unreal night sky. The area: The location is perfect. Close enough to stores for convenience and reasonable distance to cool day trip spots. The host: Hilary is excellent and easy to deal with. Extremely responsive prior to and during our stay. She genuinely cared our experience. She is the best! My family and I loved this place.

Winter Wonderland Stay

Our family of 5 spent time in this Hailey, ID house from 12/26/20 thru 1/2/21. Overall we had a great time. My list of pros and cons below to help with others deciding on stay here. Pros House with large open concept great for gathering for eating together, playing games or reading. House clean. Kitchen well stocked. We had lots of fun visiting, feeding and collecting eggs from the chickens. Bonus-the eggs were delicious! House close to sizable town with grocery stores and restaurants. Check out some of the local breweries if you like beer. Area beautiful-we took some great drives. Cons The house is well worn. It could use some updating. This is the owners primary residence so lots of personal items. The house has lots of windows, many very large which is wonderful in the day, but there are no shades in most of the house. Although the house is not near other houses, it was like being in a fish bowl. Also, the light of the full moon bouncing off the snow was very bright and you may have a hard time sleeping if you need it to be dark. There is one TV. It is on the smaller side and in a sitting area with a sectional that would not hold more than 4-5 people comfortably. It would have been nice to watch a movie or the ball drop on NYE in a larger area. There is not really anything to do outside at the property in the winter. The firepit area was completely covered with snow. The driveway is not really steep enough for sledding as mentioned in the description. You need to drive 20-30 minutes to get to skiing. This was not important to us as we did not ski, but good to know for those that do.

Michelle, Thanks you for the 5 star review but I wish when we were texting during your stay that you had asked about some of these other things! The main fire pit is on the Baldy view patio and was shoveled and wood was laid out for you, I am guessing you didn't realize it has a cover (to keep snow out of the fire pit) that can be used as a table but that there is a smokeless fire pit underneath it. It is wonderful and cozy on a snowy evening, and there are blankets to wrap up in laid out in the baskets by the door. There is a second fire pit on the south side of the house in the upper backyard which is lovely on sunny spring afternoons (nothing nicer than sitting there in the sun after backyard skiing in February or March!) but in December/January it is usually too cold to enjoy it and we don't usually keep it shoveled during that time. Sledding- so bummed you didn't ask. When the driveway is snow covered it is so much fun. I just clocked my teenagers going over 30 mph - helmets required for sure! We had laid out the orange toboggan for you - that is the fastest, and the more people you pile on the faster you go. And for a real thrill try it in the dark! Just be sure to have someone drive down to the bottom (it is a half mile run) to block any cars from driving up during the sledding. Yes, the house is light filled with huge windows everywhere which is not for everyone. I am sorry to hear the full moon kept you up, but for anyone reading this who does enjoy sleeping with the light of the moon, it is truly magical when full and bouncing off the white snow when it surrounds the house. The smaller three bedrooms do have black-out shades (also helpful for anyone going to bed early in the summer while it is still light until 10pm) but the master bedroom does not, and with no neighbors we enjoy the views from the master bed, but yes it is helpful to point out that there are no shades in the master if you prefer to have them. This is not the house for anyone who wants to walk to town or to other activities- it offers privacy and peace and quiet and a backyard for endless hiking, snowshoeing, skiing and sledding when there is snow. It is 20 minutes to Ketchum and 15 minutes to Hailey, but feels farther away from everything once you are here! Again Michelle, thank you for the 5 stars, I was happy to host your family and I am glad you enjoyed your stay.

Loved this house. We enjoyed the privacy and beauty of the property, so did our dogs!! Not too far from good restaurants in Hailey, good grocery stores etc. Venturing in to Ketchum , and fly fishing in the area is fabulous!

TRULY AMAZING HOME!

We were greeted to a clean and well organized home! One of the many truly appreciated things were the higher end amenities that were common for the home. Spacious and open floor plan with a ton of privacy at the end of a private driveway. Hilary was very receptive of questions we had. Overall a 10/10! Absolutely Wonderful!

The home was absolutely PERFECT for our family gathering. We loved the open floor plan of the living room, dining room and kitchen which provided lots of room for everyone, especially for the toddlers to run around. The home is very secluded and retreat-like. HILARY WAS AMAZING and really made our family feel comfortable. She even made time to visit so that our grandkids could feed the chickens and gather eggs! The house has a beautiful fireplace where the kiddos were able to roast marshmallows for S’mores. There’s nothing like the crackling of a real fire when it’s cold out! We absolutely LOVED the property and plan to stay there again on our next visit.

Perfect Getaway

We absolutely loved staying here for ~3 weeks as a "Covid, work remotely from somewhere stunning" getaway. The house was simultaneously remote with a hidden in the hills feeling while also only being about 12 minutes to central Hailey, about 20/25 minutes to Ketchum/Sun Valley, and 35-90 minutes to some of the best hiking Sawtooth has to offer. The kitchen is decked out and the large windows throughout the house allow you to wonderfully take in the views of the rolling hills and mountains in the distance (pro-tip, make sure all the lights are turned off and you can enjoy the incredible stars while laying in bed in the master bedroom). Our dogs absolutely loved the front and back yards. Hilary was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

Beautiful location with some potential considerations

Our first impression as we drove up the long driveway to the house was, WOW! The house sits in an amazing location; no neighbors, amazing views and is very quiet and private. The house layout allows for a seamless indoor/outdoor experience, a spacious kitchen to prepare and cook meals, and two dishwashers! We appreciated the pet friendly setup and wide open spaces. The chicken coop out back was a huge hit for our 11 year olds and they woke up each morning with great anticipation for freshly laid eggs. The chickens even loved being held and trust us, they got lots of holding!! As families who have traveled together to numerous locations and homes annually for years, a few potentials to consider.... 1. As we entered, the house was less of "Wow this is a great clean rental house" and more of "We feel like we're borrowing a friend's house for a week." It was not neat and tidy and actually felt a little dirty. All of the screen doors were broken at the bottom which allowed for some significant insect/rodent issues during the week. Also, the closets and cupboards were shoved full of personal items, and there were even mouse traps in some of the drawers. 2. The linens seemed a bit old and worn, and though the space of the kitchen was nice we found the pots/pans to be less than desirable to cook with. 3. An option is given to have cat "away" for the visit, but we actually enjoyed Clementine. She certainly sticks up for herself and had no trouble putting the dog in its place from time to time. The problem with the cat was the cat poop! Everywhere there is pea gravel (numerous locations) we could smell and see cat poop......this included the fire pit area. 4. The house lacks air conditioning which isn't a huge deal on most days but we had a couple of nights when it was uncomfortable to sleep. The weather on those days was in the 90's and the house did not cool off much during the evening. 5. Lastly the long gravel driveway. We liked the seclusion but we think it's fair for people to understand this is a long (1/2 mile, maybe longer) driveway with some washboard along the way which will lead to a very dusty vacation. All in all, we enjoyed the stay. We haven't stayed in a place quite like it. Given the price point we expected things to be a bit tidier and more professional and clean. We hope the owner takes some of these comments to heart and makes some improvements to allow for a better stay for future guests.

Amazing stay

Our stay could not have been more perfect! The home and location are beyond amazing. It is private but close enough to town to be able to get groceries, take out, etc....The home is so beautiful, clean, open and welcoming, Clementine the cat even greeted us upon arrival. Hilary was so responsive and helpful. We cannot wait to make this our yearly trip.

Serene Setting with Magnificent Views

I felt a hug as soon as we viewed the house coming up the private drive. This home is secluded, but not remote, and the natural beauty of the setting is spectacular. Once inside, the layout couldn't be better. Perfectly situated kitchen with plenty of "stuff" to make serving a crowd a breeze. The sunsets are beautiful and on our last night, Mother Nature gave us an epic show. The owner, Hilary, was very responsive and gracious. Pilar

Lovely house, idyllic locationand the perfect base for exploring Sun Valley and the surrounding area

We have rented many vacation homes over recent years and this was one of the best. Spacious well laid out home with a proper “cook’s kitchen” - fully equipped and a pleasure to use. Outside, incredible views of distant mountain ranges and complete solitude, despite being only 10 mins from Hailey and 20 mins from Ketchum. So much to do in the local area. Fly fishing, hiking, white water kayaking. Certainly on our list for a return visit, assuming Clementine the cat puts in a good word for us!
