We were able to find this gem, 5 minutes away from a wedding we were attending. The cottage is clean and new, bedding included. There are it board games, and Avery nice area/dock in a clean river. I do need to say to bring extra garbage bags as we found no extras.

Beautiful home!! Very clean and spacious..the open concept allowed us all to be together, even while cooking. Beds were comfortable, comforters were warm! Loved sitting outside on the huge deck, especially watching the stars at night. We were there for 4 days, the weather was rainy except for our last day there, we took advantage of the sunny day and enjoyed swimming, fishing and canoeing on the beautiful river!

Great spot clean and comfortable swimming was excellent even the little one. Internet slow a bit but did the job. Would definitely return but never caught any fish over 3 ful.l days which was strange

Wonderful getaway place.

This cottage is more of a high end lake house. The amenities are top of the line and the house is very spacious. Amazing stars at night when the weather/skies cooperate! Great owners too!

Great stay for our family. The cottage was clean and looked brand new like they just built it so there was a lot of mod coms. The water area was nice too with lots to do. I would definitely recommend.

Gorgeous cottage and property

This cottage has it all. Beautiful place, kitchen has everything you would need, big deck to enjoy meals and a coffee in the morning. The firepit, dock, and river was so fun, enjoyable, and relaxing. We will definitely be back.

RELAXED IN MUSKOKA

This property was beautiful and the house was so clean!!! The kids loved the small little beach and thought the paddle boat was fun! We visited late October, so we cuddled around the fire and made campfire bread during the day. Exploring the town of Bracebridge was great. We cooked up a storm in the awesome kitchen. Walks along the quiet road were rejuvenating. Spotted a snowy owl. Book your stay here, you won’t regret it. 🙌

A relaxing weekend in a great place!

We loved everything about this place, but what we loved the most was how clean it was when we got there! Spotless! We had a lovely stay with our family! The kids loved everything and didn't want to leave! From fun moments while canoeing to a relaxing experience admiring nature! Also the property managers were very friendly, kind and helpful with every request we had. Overall a great experience and a place we will come back to!

Exceptionally clean

Had a great time and the property was exceptionally clean. The property was listed as 4 beds & 8 people but the fourth bed was actually a sectional couch- not even a pull out, which made for uncomfortable sleeps. Also, the dock was completely submerged and entirely unusable for the entirety of our stay.

Relaxing getaway!

We enjoyed a nice relaxing stay at your cottage. It is well appointed, quite spacious and we found it very comfortable. The outdoor fire pit was a nice touch. 😄 Plenty of light (due to the large and plentiful windows) and the complimentary bottle of wine was a pleasant surprise. Bedside lamps, as well as a reading lamp in the living room by the couch would have been a nice addition. We visited one of your dining recommendations and thoroughly enjoyed. Everything you need

We had a great time at this place, despite incessant rain throughout the weekend we stayed here. The house is gorgeous - brand-new and has all facilities one would want in a vacation rental. Access to the river and outdoor seating area is easy, just across the road. Plenty of toys, board games and TV for entertainment. Internet works OK, with a few outages but who cares - its a vacation! The complementary wine is definitely appreciated, but what would take the hospitality one notch up is if some basic necessities like towels and ice trays in the freezer were included with the stay. Not a big deal though, we brought our own towels!

Great cottage!

The cottage looks brand new. It is very well furnished - there is everything you need in the kitchen, and more! Very spacious : we are a family of four and there was a lot of room for everyone. There are a few missing items that would make the cottage even more comfortable/convenient (drying rack, bedside tables with lamps, tray, drawers or shelves in bedroom closets to name a few). There are lots of huge windows, specially in the living room and it can get pretty hot when the sun shines all day. Lots of stuff for indoor (boardgames) and outdoor activities (kayak, paddle, pedal boat) Great location, although a little less private than expected. Some neighbours were quite loud at times. Germila and Hari were very reactive each time we had to get in touch with them before and during our stay. Highly recommend this property!

Truly home away from home!

My family and I had a one of a kind travel expaerience at Rivers Edge. If you are looking for a remote, quite and truley serene family centred vacation get away, look no futher than Rivers Edge! Our host, Germila, was wonderful. She communicated quickly and provided great suggestions on activites and best practices during our visit. It truly felt like we were home. Everything was exaclty as advertised, including the clininess* and location of all amenities. Our toddlers felt right at home with a selction of toys and games, including one toddler table and chair in the living room and kids room. We truly wanted for nothing during our stay. We saw a few reviews about the location of the camera outside the front entrance, but we truly valued the added security with the location of the property; besides, if you arent planning to do anything facetious or outside of the code of conduct, there really isnt anything to worry about. I value peace, which was easily accomplished during our stay. We were also mindful that this is someone's home. Book, relax, enjoy (before we book again). Thank us later! The Mclean's

Nice long weekend getaway!

We generally had a great visit and really appreciated the cleanliness of the property on arrival, the full-stocked kitchen and recreational supplies (including the kids stuff!) and the host's quick response time. The property was well-maintained and the dock/waterfront was quite nice. We have two small constructive criticisms: The first is that we did not appreciate the the cleaning service waiting at the end of the driveway for us to leave the cottage around 5-10 minutes before the check-out time of 11 AM. We felt rushed to get out of there despite being prepared to leave on time. While I understand the need to promptly turnover the cottage for the next guests during busy season, a grace period of 5-10 minutes would've been appreciated. The second criticism is that we noticed a solar-powered Ring camera mounted on a tree adjacent to the cottage. While I understand the need to be able to monitor check-in/out, guests present, safety emergencies, etc., we value our family's privacy and thus it would've been nice to have been informed in advance (either in the Welcome Package or the rental contract) of the camera's presence and uses. Other than that the property, stay and the host's hospitality was fabulous. Certainly deserving of 4.5-5 stars.

Make sure you look over the entire property upon arrival...

Overall, a good visit to the area.. the house was nice and comfy. Upon arrival, I entered and noticed the couch was damaged. Having heard nothing from the owner about the back of the couch being smashed in, I sent her photos of the damage, to which she apologized for not telling me sooner... The next day, we decided to try out the stand up paddle board, kayaks, and canoe. The unit these were stored on was made of 2x4 with no cover/overhang. Sliding the canoe out, the 2x4 split. Further, one of the guests went to sit in the canoe and the seat collapsed under him, injuring his thigh. Another guest tried a white adult stand-up paddle board, upon placing it on the water, stepping onto the board, and falling off (the board flipped) we noticed the entire bottom of the board was cracked and disi terraced (from the inside - see image of sun damage to core). I reported the issues to the owner as early as I could the next day. The owner stated the board was in good shape when they tried it last, and proceeded to bill me for a brand new board, meanwhile the age, use, and lack of proper storage caused the board to fall apart. $542 for a replacement added to my credit card?? ...anyone who stays here, I highly recommend scoping through the entire property before settling in... this host is looking for opportunities to have her guests pay for brand new replacements of old, abused, and neglected items on their property.

Beautiful luxurious cottage with lots of upgrades. The drive in to the cottage is surrounded by trees with the Muskoka river on the right hand side. Its the perfect spot for a great time with family and friends.
