Great Family Getaway

This get together was made the best because of the wonderful property and perfect location. The owners were definatly thinking about their customers when setting this up. Nice large rooms, lots of entertainment options and privacy location.

Was very accommodating the kitchen was will stocked with nice cookware and utensils , plates ,silverware…. The bedrooms where very nice a big. Very beautiful scenery and quite place. Enjoyed the golf course.

Great place to stay.

We had an 80th birthday party for my aunt. Close to Deadwood and Sturgis. A great golf course and plentiful wildlife sightings. Recommend strongly.

Boulder Canyon Home

Just as in the pictures, great spacious home in a development on the edge of Boulder Canyon Country Club. Perfect location from which to explore the Black Hills area and large enough to accommodate our entire family. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with kids & spouses and grandkids, and attending a wedding in the area as well. Big enough to give everyone their own space. Wonderful scenery, wildlife, and cool morning breezes! Highly recommend.

Grandma Cook's 80th Birthday Trip!

This property was amazing! We had 22 people join for my Mom's 80th birthday celebration and this place worked perfectly. The views were great, as was the Boulder Canyon Golf Club right there! Big kudos as well to our host, Memory, as she was helpful and responsive anytime we needed her. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Great Black Hills trip with friends!

Nice stay

We filled the house and still didn’t feel on top of each other. The deck is really nice and getting to see wildlife everyday was great! The house and property were pretty nice but could use a little TLC. The property manager was great to work with.

Thanksgiving trip with a LARGE family

This was a wonderful place to spend our Thanksgiving holiday! We had a large group of 12 adults and 10 kiddos! The three floors gave the kids plenty of space to run around! The rooms were very large allowing each family their own space! Very clean! Very easy check-in/check-out!! Not an unreasonable amount of requirements when wanting to head home on checkout day!!

Wonderful home to share with a big family!

We spent Thanksgiving wkend together at Cattleman’s Lodge & had everything we needed. There was lots of space for the 20 of us to spread out, play games, relax, enjoy meals together & do some walking outdoors. We found a well-stocked kitchen, lots of blankets/throws, clean rooms & plenty of parking … with a very friendly hostess too. We loved our stay! Property was just as described … you should book! A couple of the older folks thought the beds were too firm … so might throw in a topper if u like a really soft bed.

Great Place for Large Families

We stayed in this house with our grown children and their families. We had plenty of room to all sit and enjoy meals and play games together in the dining area. The pool table, hot tub, and theater were a hit. There was something for everyone to do. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our holiday meal. Everyone really enjoyed sitting by the fireplaces and watching TV or conversing. We had a great experience and would book this house again.

Perfect for Our Reunion!

This was a beautiful and spacious venue for our family reunion. Everyone was happy with the accommodations, including a huge kitchen with two coffee pots, comfy beds and plenty of hot water for showers. We even had daily visits from a doe and her two fawns! The hot tub and pool table were a bonus. The only suggestion is that the lower level bathroom could use a couple more hooks or bars for towels. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us - we had a grand time!

Outstanding Home with Lots of Room

We had three families stay in this spacious home for a long weekend and it was amazing! There was so much room we felt like we didn't even utilize all of the spaces. We really appreciated the seating space, plenty of countertops in the kitchen, the extra full size fridge, the HUGE garage, plenty of bedrooms and beds, the outside decks, hot tub, and extra living space downstairs. The movie theater room was a favorite for the kids at the end of each day, giving the parents a much needed break! The house was clean, it was well stocked and supplied, and I have no complaints. If this property comes across your search, just book it!

Christmas Getaway

Despite a snowy start (we arrived in the middle of a blizzard) we had an awesome time for our first annual Christmas getaway! We had excellent communication from both the property host AND the home owner- which was greatly appreciated. The home is beautiful (exactly as pictured) tons of space and a well stocked kitchen with everything we needed to prepare meals for our crew. We enjoyed the hot tub, loved the theater room and spent alot of time playing pool and darts as well as games and cards around the big kitchen table. One comment/fyi is that all of the mattresses were very FIRM. If you like a firm mattress you will love it, but for us it took some getting used to. Overall though- excellent place to stay!

Family Vacation

We have taken family trips instead of buying unneeded gifts for Christmas about every 4-5 years, going somewhere different each time. Our stay at the Cattlemen's was by far one of our favorites. We had 7 families with our grandkids ages ranging from 63-1 year old, it was the perfect fit!❤️❤️ from going on adventures throughout the Black Hills to playing catch in the front yard, bags on the driveway, and the little playing kitchen on the deck. We can't say enough abbot how awesome it was. We weren't ready to land and one of our son's asked if we could make it 3 weeks next time lol. Thank you so much for the hospitality. We are also a family of farmers with cow/ calf herds and managers of feedlots in Iowa. We have to stay again someday.

Amazing Spot!

We had an amazing time spending the week in this house. The location is easy to access, has an incredible views and everything you could need. My family enjoyed sitting on the deck in the mornings drinking coffee and in the evening watching deer. I was impressed with all the seating available, the plethora of towels and that it was even stocked with high-quality toilet paper! The only issue we encountered was slow WiFi. There was one day on our trip when three of us were working from the house and only one could be on a call at a time because of the poor connection. The host was very quick to respond and help troubleshoot. Other than that, everything was wonderful and we would certainly stay here again!

Great cabin in Boulder Canyon

This place was awesome! Plenty of room for 20 of us. The view from the patio is into a large meadow with dear roaming around every time we looked. You can also see one of the golf course holes from the house. We were a little surprised that the 6th bedroom (which you access through the theatre) was more of a converted storage area. It was clean and hard to find but it has painted concrete walls and a little cold. 3 bedrooms upstairs, master on the main level, and two downstairs. The only room with a connected bathroom was the master. This is a great place for a golf retreat or access to Sturgis or Deadwood. Lots of Smart TVs throughout which made it easy for a diverse group of people to wind down after exploring the hills. The Cornhole in the garage was a big hit. We would definitely stay here again.
