Awesome

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! It’s tucked away in a beautiful and secluded area, offering the perfect escape for peace and relaxation. The cabin itself was spotless, well-maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was waking up each morning to see deer grazing right outside the kitchen window—it was absolutely breathtaking and made our trip even more special. If you’re looking for a serene getaway surrounded by nature, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend!

Perfect home away from home!!

We enjoyed our 4 night stay in the cabin. It has such a cozy & homey vibe, which we prefer to the overly modern homes.The beds were comfortable, especially the back bedroom, so we all slept well, which is always nice. Beautiful view from the deck overlooking a pond & the area in general has spectacular views. We would stay here again!

Secluded hideaway

If you are looking for a quiet, semi-secluded cabin. This place is it. Not only was it beautiful and accurately depicted, as well as easy and frequent communication from the property owner.

There is plenty of room and everything was clean. The owner sent us messages 2 times to check in and see if we had questions or needed anything. We would stay here again.

Beautiful and peaceful vacation cabin

The cabin was beautiful and oh so peaceful! We saw tons of wildlife during our stay. Owners checked on us multiple times. Definitely would recommend staying here! Hope to come back again! The only complaint I have is with the property manager, I message them, and they never replied back. My husband and I travel A LOT, this was the first time that has ever happened.

Florissant Cabin

The property was nice and quiet. Could use another trash bin. Hot tub was great. I would definitely recommend the location to anyone looking for something out of the way. Thank you for a great space.

Nice getaway spot off the beatin’ path

My wife and I wanted to get away for a weekend and this was the perfect spot! Very relaxing and secluded. The hot tub was great. It’s 15 miles or so from any restaurants or stores but we were ok with that. No cell phone service but the WiFi works well. Highly recommended spot.

Peaceful and beautiful

This place was amazing very clean and comfortable just like home away from home. We enjoyed the wildlife and the deer where very friendly with us and would visit us every morning while we drank our coffee. Very convenient for a lot of attractions in the area we will be back thanks so much for a great anniversary get away!

Lovely cabin

This is a very nice property if you want to be away from the city. Be sure to bring all your food because there is not a store close to pick up those forgotten item. However the cabin is well stocked with spices, pots & pans, linens, blankets, etc. Very clean, cozy, and great communication with the owner. There are even humidifiers for "low landers" who are not accustom to the dry mountain air. The cabin does have accommodations for children, pack 'n play, some games. Our only disappointment was the hot tube was not functioning while we were there.

Beautiful cabin!

This is a beautiful little cabin in a remote location. Be sure to stop at a grocery store before heading to the cabin because it is remote. The kitchen is well stocked, the decorations are cute, and the cabin was very clean. The king bed was very comfortable. A assume the other beds are as well. We enjoyed the deck looking towards the pond through the Aspens. Three Mule deer walked by the kitchen windows around 9:00 am. That was fun! There are games for children and families as well as direct TV available. If you are looking for quiet get-away, this is the cabin for you. The host communicated well and was very accommodating.

Cozy and Peaceful Family Getaway

My family of four had such a great time staying at Solitude Rock. It immediately felt like home. The kitchen had plenty of counter space to unpack and organize the snacks and food for our stay. The cool mountain mornings to dip your feet in the hot tub were the best to enjoy the wildlife and a cup of coffee.My daughter and I took evening walks around the pond while my husband threw in a line.It's a great location to hit the various destination spots around and to take in the scenery of the area.We missed it as soon as we drove away. Thanks for some wonderful memories!

Beautiful

Quiet Cabin

Loved this cabin, close to many of our destinations, yet in a very peaceful "neighborhood", no one too close!!! The hot tub was great to get in and relax at night. Everything we needed at the cabin. No issues with cabin, so never needed to contact anyone, but they reached out just to make sure we didn't need anything. Would love to go back, and would recommend this place to everyone.

Cozy Little Getaway

This was the perfect getaway cabin my family needed over spring break. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were impressed by the comfortable beds, plenty of towels and blankets, and a well stocked kitchen. Leo was great with communication especially regarding recent heavy snow in the area. Our kids enjoyed hours outside playing and exploring nature. The property also provides excellent sledding if you’re lucky to visit when there is snow. We highly recommend star gazing in the hot tub at night. It was a nice relaxing break from our busy schedules. We will definitely keep Solitude Rock on our list of places to visit again!

This cabin is a must stay. Easy to get to anywhere you wanna go. We stayed for 6 nights for our family vacation and enjoyed every day. The hot tub was a big hit and the deer are always not far away from the cabin. A great place to relax and star gaze. Even though there are 2 neighbors not far away it still felt very secluded. We absolutely loved staying here and Leo was amazing. He text a few times to see if we needed anything but my cell service wasn’t great there. We highly recommend staying here it is worth every penny I promise. Thank you again for a great family vacation

Peaceful Surroundings!

We stayed this past week at this restful cabin in Florissant. The location is off the beaten path as another review indicates so we were well prepared for this. We did Garden of the Gods, Royal Gorge Train, Old Colorado City, Pikes Peak and so much more. We just planned well and packed a cooler with drinks etc as we planned to be gone for the day. The cabin has a beautiful porch, with two wicker chairs and a table with 4 chairs. The hot tub was amazing and we used it each night. The pond is great and I did walk down to it each morning and night, just be careful it can be a little slippery in the mornings. We had deer visit us so the wildlife was fun too. Amenities in the cabin were well utilized, the Keurig is a great need for me and we were able to make breakfast and late night snacks if needed. There is a Walmart in Woodland Park which is where we shopped for things we needed for the week. We also stopped at City Market for a few things we forgot, which was closer! I would caution that you arrive in daylight so that you are aware of where you're going as there are no lights and one or two sharp turns. Once you get the lay of the land you should be fine. The roads are not paved to the cabin so take it slow for any unexpected dips in the gravel. Leo was very attentive and texted me to be sure we made it to the cabin and any questions to feel free to text him. We only had an issue of not enough bath towels for the 4 of us, Leo had the cleaning crew drop some off on Tuesday (2nd full day). The bedroom TV I had an issue with getting regular TV but was able to get Netflix so it was completely fine (Leo did offet to chat over the phone to solve this, it wasn't a major deal for me as we weren't in the bedroom much!). Overall the cabin was very clean, well stocked with seasonings, some K cups, pots, pans, paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap etc. We would definitely rent this cabin again should we visit Colorado in the future!

Cozy Mountain cabin, wonderful location

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay on this lovely property! The cabin is as advertised and includes tons of little touches such as a very comfortable king size bed, stocked coffee maker, flip-of-a-switch fireplace and plenty of towels and other amenities. The location was excellent for our activities. We enjoyed numerous hiking trails within 20 minutes drive, such as the National Monument Fossil beds (several nice trails, 10 min away), South Platte River Trailhead, the Crags, and Mueller State Park. We would go hiking during the days, pick up a juicy burger from Russ' in Divide or Mexican food in Woodland Park and then head back to the cozy cabin, turn on the fire place, and enjoy the hot tub and solitude under a beautiful star-filled mountain sky. We didn't even get to the Wolf Sanctuary tour (right down the road), Cripple Creek, or some of the other things close by on our list, so will definitely have to come back. A great getaway and basecamp - hosts were very helpful, communicative and went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable.

Very well kept and clean. The views of the wildlife were beyond expectations!

We watched deer, birds, squirrels, fox and even a bear from the hot tub! Perfect hidden gem. All appliances we needed were there. Couldn't have asked for anything more!!!

Cabin in Florissant

Great cozy cabin! It was perfect for us- clean and comfortable! Appreciated our host Leo checking in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. The area was simply beautiful & we especially loved the family of deer in the area that are frequent to the cabin (as well as the chipmunks). My son loved the fishing pond & both of our kids loved exploring the beautiful wooded area. The cabin is quite a drive from all of the activities / sites we went to (Garden of Gods, Pikes Peak, white water rafting/ Royal Gorge) - so we made day outings. But we appreciated being able to enjoy the quiet seclusion of the cabin in the mornings and evenings - so it was great for us! And amazing star gazing (all of us enjoyed this at night in the hot tub)! A grill and dishwasher would be nice additions to the cabin & bummed there was no fire pit ( but understood with the fire threats).

Five star stay!

I cannot say enough about this quiet cabin off the beaten path. Close to numerous hikes and sites in an ideal, quiet setting. It is exactly as described and an absolute gem. The cabin was pristine! The extras like soap, shampoo, and kitchen amenities were more than I have ever experienced in other short term stay. Leo was responsive to my questions but we had no issues whatsoever. We cannot wait to go back to Solitude Rock!
