Welcome to Rhythm and Blue- 89 Ridgeline

This 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath music-themed home is perfect for a large group of friends, family, or colleagues alike. You will find guitars and tambourines to pass the time and impress your guests. Perhaps cooking is your thing! If that’s the case, R&B has a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of seating for everyone!

If you came to relax, grab one of our books and head out front because we have the perfect porch swing on the bottom level to do just that or you can make your way to the second-floor balcony for that lovely lake and treetop view!

We’re only steps away from the tower pool and down the street from the playground, the pavilion, and The Meeting House!

Downstairs is the main living quarters with a beautiful kitchen, large laundry room, and relaxing king En-suite.

Upstairs you will find two queen bedrooms, a large En-suite bedroom with a king-size bed and TV as well as a bunk room with 6 twin beds. The bunk room has a record player, a stocked game closet, teen and children's books, and a tv. There is also another full bathroom in the central hall.

You may be inspired by some of the musicians on the walls throughout the house. After all, they paved the way! We hope they at least spark a conversation and help you unplug for a while. This property has a propane grill for guests to use.

Rhythm and Blue has 4 guest parking spaces. All additional vehicles can be parked in the parking lot behind The Meeting House, located on Boulevard.

Golf carts parked at the property are owners use only.
If you would like to rent a Golf cart, please reserve your cart online through Carts of Carlton at or contact Dr. Doos at.

All of our vacation rental homes at LakeStay are equipped with bed linens, bath towels, a starter supply of amenities, and a washer/dryer unit for your stay. Guests will have access to our community amenities: pool, hot tub, grills, inflatable water park, and seasonal kayaks-paddle board rentals. We stayed the entire week of Christmas 2025. Myself, daughter and family from Colorado, older son and family from OKC and younger son and family from Dallas. 7 adults and 6 kids 5 yr old and under. We set up a Christmas tree, lots of cooking and visiting. We especially enjoyed taking long walks with the kids on scooters and scouting out the area. It was so wonderful and we really enjoyed the Town Center and that area with the small food service. Could not have been a more enjoyable week!

Fantastic Stay

We just returned from a weekend here and had the best time. Our large family stayed here, and the house was a perfect fit. With four bedrooms plus bunk room, this was ideal for adults and kids alike. The location is beautiful with a lake view and easy access to the park, The Meeting House, basketball courts and the pool. We will definitely stay here again next time we return to Carlton Landing.

Thanksgiving Stay

Beautiful home. Spacious and clean. We very much enjoyed our time in Carlton Landing. The area is beautiful and the weather allowed us to get out and enjoy the outdoors. We will definitely be coming back.

We lost two nights of sleep due to a beeping loud noise . They fixed the first time and it happened again the next night. They replaced the plug, super frustrating when your kids had been up since 3 am two nights in a row. Thought we’d get compensated but did not get anything for that.

Overall a nice place. Floors looked clean however it seems as though they had not been properly mopped in a while. Our feet were dirty walking around. Some floor areas were sticky. The stairs had something sharp in the carpet (maybe a carpet nail or staple) 3 cuts were had by different people from stairs.

Rhythm & Blue

The home is lovely and just as pictured. The room with bunkbeds is exactly as pictured so you'd need a little one for the bottom bunk that overlaps with the other bed. The other rooms are spacious. I prefer a soft bed and all of these were more firm. It wasn't an issue, just my personal preference. We had a small issue and contacted the management. They were on it immediately and it was fixed without interruption to our stay. Lake Stay manages this property and they are always amazing! We look for houses they manage every time we come. Communication is easy and prompt.

Everything was clean and well maintained; a few things added to the kitchen (salt and pepper + a new can opener) would be awesome! But overall - loved it! The stairs were a bit of a hazard due to the tack strips being exposed. Most of those in our group (both children and adults) had cuts and sharp pokes on our heels and feet from stepping on the tack strips down the steps. This was our only negative takeaway; otherwise, we truly loved it!

June 2023 - Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rhythm and Blue was nearly a perfect fit for our Family of 14. The Kitchen and Downstaris Living area was very comfortable and allowed us to all have meals and hang together.We took advantage of the washer and dryer, and kitchen which all worked perfectly. The front porch was a great place to take coffee and wave to other passers-by. Walks to Town Center were less than 10 min; the pool less than 5.Minor issues for our situation:-the bunkroom did not a have a door for privacy-there are a number of carpet tack strips on the stairs that bare feet discovered-driveway access was blocked due to new paved road being finished up. This was quickly addressed after our initial attempt to park.-the provided grill was not large enough to cook burgers and dogs for our group in one "load"
