This property has 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, all one level. Hemlock Gazebo with a metal roof just built for the hot tub. Propane fire table provided. Beautiful views and a large bright space for your friends or family. Across the street from the Sea Caves and restaurants, 10 minutes from the Fundy Trail entrance, it’s a prime location. Enjoy watching the tide fill the caves and completely empty from every room in the house. Equipped with a heat pump, you’ll be comfortable any season. While this cottage is all one level, there are steps leading into the cottage. While it’s spacious, it is probably not a a good fit for those with mobility concerns.

Lovely spot!

We had a great stay at your place! It was clean, well stocked with all the kitchen doors labeled. We had local coffee waiting for us as well which we quite enjoyed! We even completed your challenging wooden cat puzzle! Thank you for helping us make great memories with our kids!

Amazing house view...everything

We stayed 7 days. There were 3 of us. 1 bedroom each(1 king, 1queen and a twin size with memory foam mattresses), and two full bathrooms. The hot tub was inspected daily to make sure it was just right. Plenty of room. Becky, the host, seemed to think of everything. Including nightlights, robes to wear to the hot tub and even laundry soap! The house was beautiful and the view of the bay and the sea cave great?

Great stay!

The Blue Whale Cottage did not disappoint. We only wish we had booked for longer. Our kids spent hours each day exploring the caves and bay and never got bored.

The Blue Whale is amazing

the cottage was perfect, the owner was excellent and gave extra attention to our special requests, the location and view were great. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend this property. If I had to find a negative, the beds were soft, but that is purely personal preference not a reflection of the cottage.

Whale Cottage was great!

This was our second stay with Cave View Cottages here in St. Martins. It was a great house with modern comforts and a super location. We’ll be sure to visit again!

Great location

Location can’t be beat. You can walk to the caves from here. There are a couple nice restaurants across the road. Close to the Provincial Park. Close to the local store. The VRBO has everything you could need and more. Communication with the host was easy and responses were within minutes. Quiet and relaxing. The photos on the website don’t really do it justice. One of the nicest VRBO’s for the price.

Lovely Whale-Themed cottage

Although we had a very busy agenda and did not get a chance to fully enjoy the cottage, we found it to be a wonderful property with all the amenities/well-stocked kitchen and laundry facility, and a hot tub to boot! The view of the Caves from the front windows NEVER got boring and the location was ideal--it allowed us to get to our other New Brunswick spots easily. We did not discover the Fundy Trail Parkway till the evening before, on our way back from Fundy National Park but it was absolutely beautiful and scenic and turned out to be so close to the cottage. Our hosts Becky and Shawn were very responsive to our questions and concerns, and it was so nice they provided some fresh ground local coffee which was very enjoyable. Little added things like this are always appreciated. Would highly recommend and if we are back in the area, would definitely stay there again!

Revitalization Getaway

We were in the Saint John area to tidy up some estate business and wanted a quiet place to relax and unwind. Needless to say, we found it. The unit was tidy and well equipped, never mind the bonus feature of the hot tub.

Nice vacation spot

We enjoyed our stay at this property in St. Martins. It was clean and enough space to suit our needs. No issues with check-in/out. Great views of the Sea Caves. Took a little longer than we expected to drive to get to some other sights but we saw as much as we could! People we met in town were friendly and helpful with tips on the area.

Memorable Vacation

The home is in a great spot to view the Caves and for a great place to use as a base camp for traveling the area. After a hard day of hiking out on the Fundy Trail come back and soak those bones in the beautiful hot tub to be ready for the next day. The beds are comfortable and support a great nights sleep. Everything is clean and updated. My Family stayed for 9 days and were completely satisfied. It was a great vacation and we will happily go back to this property. Thank You for a memorable vacation.

Relaxing and scenic

My family stayed at the Blue Whale Cottage July 30-Aug 8, 2023, we had perfect weather, beautiful scenery and made memories that will last for a lifetime. So many day-trips are available and we took advantage of it! The caves, the food, the tides, and the hot tub…we highly recommend! Becky was friendly and provided tips and responded to questions quickly.

Amazing view of caves

I just loved being able to look out the window at the caves & have such a short walk to the caves. It was great to have everything at the house for a family. I wish we could have stayed longer. Uno & puzzles were perfect for our rainy nights! My kids loved lounging in the robes!

The space was lovely! Perfect for our Family. It was great being able to do laundry and cook . If you don’t want to cook there is two restaurants across the street. I strongly recommend checking out Long Beach in the Bay of Fundy we spend half a day there and we’re greater but a couple sea seals. The sea caves we also really cool. It was nice to come back to the cottage and go in the hot tub after a day of exploring.

Great Spot!!

First of all the location was great. We could see the caves right out the living room window. The location offered several things to do from walking the ocean floor over to the caves, checking out the light house and easy access to the Fundy Trail Parkway which was a true surprise with beautiful scenery which rivalled the scenery on the Cabot Trail. The property offered easy access due to the great communication with the property owners. The premises was spotless and offered plenty of seating in the living room after a day of walking and hiking. The kitchen was fully stocked for those who like to cook their own meals but as we were on vacation we checked out the tow restaurants within walking distance. The bedrooms offered very comfortable beds and the premises boasts 2 bathrooms which was a plus. Becky was in constant communication to ensure we were comfortably settled in and if we were missing anything. The hot tub was a bonus and was enjoyed one evening after our travels to see the sites. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

Beautiful Sunrises

Loved the Blue Whale! Amazing view of the St Martins Sea Caves, ocean and sunrises from every room in the house! Squeaky clean with everything we needed. Becky was friendly, professional and responsive. We felt like we were home from the start. It was very cold so we did not use the hot tub but we did sit by the fire and tell stories. Wonderful week spent in a beautiful place with old friends! We plan on coming back! Thank you Becky!

Three senior ladies loved every minute!

Scenery and Fundy Trail and local restaurants were all great! Property very spacious and could easily accommodate 3 more adults! Everything you could need to cook with was there!

Wonderful Blue Whale property

We enjoyed the property very much. It was comfortable, clean and convenient to St Martin's restaurants and the spectacular sea caves. Just a few km from the Fundy Trail Parkway and Red Rocks sea kayaking. The bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living area were nicely furnished and comfortable. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout the home. Loved the washer & dryer and dishwasher for quick cleanups. We enjoyed the covered gazebo with fire table, illuminated by Edison lightbulbs.
