Perfect house for a visit - close to downtown and in a beautiful neighborhood. Excellent setup for our situation - two couples - and great living spaces, including a screened in porch that was the go to place to relax, snack and chat or read.Highly recommended!

Highlands is our happy place, and this cottage is the perfect place to stay. It was our second time renting here, and we appreciate the comfort and quiet of the cottage. Tucked into a beautiful neighborhood and close to downtown, it has a great well stocked kitchen, an inviting living room, comfy beds, undated baths, and a sunroom and deck surrounded by nature. Can’t wait to return!!

Perfect stay!

Our group of five ladies had a great stay at this cute cottage very close to downtown Highlands. The house was just as listed, clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is very nice too. Communication with the owner was quick and easy, and we appreciated the yummy cake that was left for us - such a thoughtful gesture! Would definitely stay here again.

Wedding weekend

The home was one of the best locations for our stay, close to the wedding venue, everything about the house and host was perfect. We will certainly return to Highlands, NC and hopefully be able to rent this property again. I highly recommend this location if you liked being treated with a warm welcome, just like family.

Wonderful mountain retreat

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was so cozy and welcoming. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us, comfortable beds, updated bathrooms and lovely decorations! The screened porch off the back is the perfect place to read, play a board game or have a glass of wine. The location is incredible, just a mile from town but really quiet and private neighborhood.
