Indulge in a luxe, off-grid escape, set on expansive acreage near the Ludlow Tuart Forest. With spacious interiors, an indoor-outdoor fireplace, and a dedicated media room, every detail has been crafted for your comfort and entertainment. Hand-feed the friendly Highlander cows, enjoy meals alfresco, or soak in the freestanding bath. Itâs perfect for families and those seeking a sophisticated, eco-friendly getaway near Busseltonâs pristine coastline.
Just a ten-minute drive from Forrest and Wonnerup Beaches, this generously designed farmhouse combines tranquillity and style surrounded by nature. The propertyâs sleek, contemporary exterior opens to an expansive layout, where floor-to-ceiling windows frame sweeping views of lush paddocks and grazing woolly Highlander cows if youâre lucky.
The generously proportioned living area is a showstopper, with a light-filled open-plan design featuring a double-sided, indoor-outdoor fireplace, stylish furnishings, and a large Smart TV, while a separate media room offers additional space for the kids featuring a PlayStation. Enjoy meals at the timber dining table, which seats eight with ease. The state-of-the-art kitchen is as functional as it is beautiful, with expansive countertops, premium appliances, and a stunning bushland outlook. Reverse-cycle air conditioning and ceiling fans ensure a perfectly comfortable stay, no matter the season.
Outdoors, the recessed alfresco space offers an idyllic experience with a dining table by the fireplace and a separate lounge area perfect for starlit evenings. A dedicated fully fenced area provides a safe space for children and pets to run and play. The Highlander Cows are very friendly and can be hand-fed if they are around. Their favourite treats are carrots and bread.
The bedrooms are a retreat in themselves. The spacious primary suite boasts a king-size bed, an ensuite with a walk-in shower, and direct access to an alfresco area, creating a secluded sanctuary for relaxation. On the opposite wing, two air-conditioned bedrooms â one with a queen-size bed and the other with two bunk beds â share a large, elegant bathroom complete with a freestanding bath and step-free shower.
Additional amenities include a dedicated workspace, well-equipped laundry and two undercover parking. Â A starter pack of firewood is provided for the fireplace during the winter months. If you require extra firewood, it can be purchased at local service stations and hardware stores.
The property is run completely off the grid and uses batteries during poor weather and overnight. Please make reasonable efforts to conserve power, in particular, the air-conditioning should be used only as required; running multiple units is not recommended overnight. Power outages may be possible where care is not taken.
During your stay, you and your group will have the entire farmhouse to yourselves. Please make yourselves at home!
