Nestled in between the crystal clear waterâs of Geographe Bay and Tobyâs Inlet, this warm and cosy quirky cottage is mere metres from the waterâs edge plus a short drive to Dunsborough town centre and many world-class wineries and breweries.
Our grand daughters had fun in the garden exploring to fairy houses and tree ornaments, although the giant swing got most attention. Great location to the beach in a very quiet and peaceful street.
Very old but quaint beach cottage with a nice outdoor area for the kids to play in. Close to Dunsborough shops which was very handy and super close to the beach which was perfect. The property manager was very helpful and gave quick responses too. Had a great time đ
We loved our stay. Nothing fancy but very comfortable and had everything we needed. Reminded me of cottages we stayed at on Cape Cod. Responded quickly to questions. I canât think of anything I would have changed.
The gardens are more beautiful than the pictures show; it's was the perfect place to wind down after a day touring the wineries. Quiet, serene, peaceful. The cottage itself is eclectic, it oozes it's own personality in the best possible way. Will definitely stay again next trip
We really enjoyed our stay here it was quiet and relaxing, the weather wasnât too good so we made the most of the log burner and enjoyed cozy nights in. We managed a bit of fishing and got lucky. The beds are so comfy and we all slept really well! Just what we needed
Just as the advert, with a quenda bandicoot as well
Delightful straight across to the beach, we made a winter visit from the deserts and mountains in US. Cool weather and visits so several of the hostess' suggestions.
The quaint property was exactly as described...it was like having a holiday in a location of my childhood! It was so close to a pristine beach and we enjoyed everything about the quietness and proximity. The beds were clean and comfortable and it was cool during a January heatwave. Loved it!
My name is Hermione and it is my pleasure to share with you my family's very special beach house. We have holidayed here since I was a little girl and it is, hands down, my happiest of places. I am a journalist by trade but currently work in corporate PR in Perth and live with my husband and two beautiful daughters. I have a love of food and wine, and there is no better place to experience the best of what WA has to offer, than the South West.
Quitch Cottage is like walking into a warm hug and reminds you to be a kid again. The whimsical garden has been a labor of love for my parents, and is a haven for children to let their imagination run wild. In summer, it is a mere 23 steps to one of the most beautiful, calmest and quietest beaches in the South West. A resident stingray will pass by every evening around 5pm, cruising the shallows in search of food. In winter, a pot belly stove warms every corner of the cottage. The property is far enough away from the bustle of Dunsborough's town centre, but close enough that whatever you need - a litre of milk, a winery lunch, or caving adventure - is close at hand.
The property is 23 steps to the water's edge. Minutes to Dunsborough Town Centre and several wineries, breweries, caves and other magnificent beaches. Quiet hamlet away from the tourist hubs.
