Sun Valley Ski Weekend

The property was great! Located on the 3rd floor, so you do need to carry everything up! Wasn’t an issue for us at all. Views are great, condo is spacious and bedrooms are nicely insulated from living area. Kitchen is well stocked and management leaves things like spices, olive oil, condiments, baggies, etc…so check what’s there before you shop! There is also laundry in the unit tho that’s not listed. Also the bunk bed I believe is a full, not queen. (hard to tell from photos but if you plan on 2 adults sharing a bed….know that!) Hot tub is fantastic, but there are only 5 passes that come with the unit (so only 5 of your group could go at once). Look into this if this is important to your group…some ways around it. Owner and manager were very communicative and helpful. Location and parking is super easy. About a 5 min drive to town…12 min or so to ski. We didn’t use the shuttle or bus but it’s very accessible as well.

Beautiful Unit/Prime Location

We loved this unit so much! It was beautifully decorated, clean, very comfortable, and well-stocked. It was perfect for our family: adult kids, a teenager, and a new grandbaby(!). The fireplaces in the great room and the master bedroom were a wonderful bonus on chilly fall mornings. The WiFi and cable provider got two thumbs up from those in our group who needed to log in to work and those who wanted to watch the University of Utah dominate Arizona State. We love being within walking distance of the ice rink, pickleball courts, and Sun Valley restaurants/shopping. We highly recommend this unit! A side note: We hope that the Sun Valley Recreation Center will see the wisdom in revising their guest pass policy for the pools as they are unwilling to issue more than 5 passes regardless of the number of bedrooms rented/people in your group. The owners pay a premium for use of the amenities and want their renters to be able to enjoy them too.

Continuing our family tradition

Our family has been visiting Sun Valley since the 40’s. We are on five generations of family Sun Valley fun. We are all too familiar with the accommodations and know what to look for. One suggestion: It looks a though the Holding Family is trying to take back control of all amenities including the use of the Lodge Pool. We were only allowed to use the Olympic and Inn pools. May add an extra fee so that all of the amenities are available. If you book through Sun Valley, they are included. I would be willing to pay extra for the Lodge Pool use.

Fabulous condo in the heart of Sun Valley Resort

We had the absolute best stay at this gorgeous property! It is sparkling clean, has breathtaking views, balconies off every bedroom plus the main living space, and gets a wonderful cross-breeze with open windows in the summer months. The owners have outfitted the condo very tastefully, and I can honestly say these were the best beds and linens I’ve ever found in a rental. Our kids were obsessed with the fun kids rooms (bunk beds AND. A loft!). On top of all of that, the owners and property managers went above and beyond to support our family during our stay when we forgot our baby’s pack and play and needed to borrow one at the last minute. I can’t say enough positive things — we absolutely loved our stay and will be back for sure!
