Coopers Haven. This property once being a bustling camping ground on the waterfront of Coopers Beach. The accommodation in its bygone was the hub for campers with its shared kitchen and ablution/wet areas for all to come and enjoy is now converted to the 3 bedroom accommodation it is today. The wet area still bares the familiar of the era and the shared kitchen space now houses a massive open plan living, dining & lounge area. The living areas open out to the covered patio that looks out across the huge lawn to Doubtless Bay beyond. This is perfect for family & friends wanting to be on the waters edge. Stroll down the access to Coopers Beach for a dip in the cool ocean. The kids have room to kick a ball around while you throw a few snarlers on the barby after a day in the sun. Kick back and relax on the outdoor area while the sun goes down chatting about the adventures of the day. Simple but perfect for that typical kiwi bach experience. Great base to explore the beauty of the far far north. Four legged friends welcome. Not fenced but at owners management.
Great location with lovely views and walkway to beach, however upon arrival there was no hot water & smoke alarms had been removed from ceiling. Kitchen lacks a lot of kitchenware to cater for 6 people and there was no notice to say the water could not be drunk. Bathroom facilities are the original ablution block with only shower curtains and water pressure bad. Can only have one tap running at a time or there is no water. Seating in lounge not adequate for 6 people. Grounds untidy. Beds were clean and comfortable. This property is overpriced for the limited facilities available.
