Summary:
The Retreat at Glenn's Bay is one of the best locations in Surfside! Just 1/4 mile from downtown Surfside and 1.5 miles from the brand new Surfside Pier, you can enjoy the beach breezes from either of the shaded screen porches or hit the pool just steps away. This beautiful 4 bed/3 bath Villa, boasts over 1500 sf. and allows gas powered golf carts, which you can take directly to the beach. Enjoy getting around to the grocery store, beach or dinner with a family fun adventure by golf cart!
The Space:
Step inside Jen's Bay Retreat, where you will find dual downstairs master suites with king beds and a private en suite bathroom each so you and your family don't have to fight over who gets the best bedroom. Also on the main level is a comfy living room with plenty of seating, a 55" HDTV with premium cable, a fully stocked kitchen and not 1 but 2 screened porches sheltered from the sun. Stroll upstairs and you will find a 2nd large living room space with a sleeper sofa and 2 additional bedrooms sharing a bathroom and more porch seating off the 2nd living room.

The Retreat at Glenn's Bay is located off Glenn's Bay Road, a golf cart legal road with 30 MPH speed limit. Make a left turn out of the complex and you are just 2 minutes away from downtown Surfside with its delicious eateries and night life. Just about a mile beyond that is the gorgeous new Surfside Pier with additional tasty restaurant choices, ice cream shops, retail and public beach access with golf cart parking. Public parking is only about $10/day. Also, within 10 minutes drive are 3 grocery stores, including Piggly Wiggly less than 1/4 mile away and reachable by golf cart.
Getting Around:
A car is recommended. Uber is available in the area, but can be limited at times. Don't miss our Brand New Luxe limo style gas powered golf carts available for rent during your stay. Don't worry about having to charge up every night as one tank of gas will handle 140 miles of cruising around. Its also much easier to park at the public beach access points with a golf cart, though you can walk to the beach access right at the end of the street less than 2 blocks away as well. The home is just 15 minutes from the Myrtle Beach International Airport. Uber will get you to the property for about $25-30.
Other Things to Note:
We provide you with linens for all beds in the home as well as bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths for your stay. Additionally, there will be a roll of paper towels in the kitchen, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, hand and dish soaps and 2 laundry pods and 2 dish pods. All of this is included with the "cleaning fee".
You will want to bring pool/beach towels for your stay. To make your stay even more enjoyable and hassle free, we offer some optional super light, durable backpack style beach chairs as well as our custom golf carts which are rentable on your Guest Portal provided at the time of booking.
