These cozy upstairs lofts are located in Niles, Michigan by the river. This listing is for Loft 3 in our 10-loft building. Enjoy a stay in this cozy 1 bedroom unit located by the river, this unit does have a river view. Tastefully decorated throughout with lots of extra touches and amenities not usually found in short-term rental homes. Rivers Edge Lofts are ideal for guests looking to travel and visit Michigan or for long-term stays. Rivers Edge Lofts are centrally located to tourist attractions, wineries, and various universities. Close to highway US-31 with easy access to major attractions such as Notre Dame or southwestern MI beaches; also close to airports for a quick business trip.



Not only is Rivers Edge Lofts conveniently located to various activities but close access to grabbing a bite to eat. Take a 1-minute drive to downtown Niles to check out the local restaurants and relish a relaxing stroll along the river. The entire home is for your private use with an easy self-check-in process to accommodate various arrival times. There is a private entrance with your own access code that will function between your check-in and check-out times.



Come back after a great day of exploring and enjoy the comfort and warmth of your own place. Access to a mini fridge and microwave within the unit. Washers and dryers, coffee makers, and a toaster are located in the shared common area within the complex. Sleeps 4 comfortably, there is a full-size bed in the loft and a Queen size bed on the main floor. You can also enjoy the communal coffee bar while at Rivers Edge Lofts!



Completely remodeled unit with all the latest designs. Guests will find the space to be warm, comfortable, and inviting and the hosts to be responsive and diligent to provide an excellent stay for each guest. Here on a business trip; work in comfort with the fast fiber-optic internet service, 500 Megabit (Wi-Fi only, no ether-net port). There is no additional charge for this service.

basically, a hotel room w

We only needed a one-night stay, so this was perfect for what we needed. But there is not a kitchen or personal coffee maker in this unit. But the common area has a Kuerig, so this was not really an issue for us. We think these lofts are great and will most likely be back but check the amenities before you arrive. The river is a great place for a morning or early evening walk. Great location near fun stops like St. Joe, New Buffalo and lake Michigan

The property is in a great location and is in a very walkable area. However, the unit that I stayed in had pretty thin walls and I could hear everything in the unit next door, including the occupants' loud music, personal phone calls, and robust romantic activities. I contacted the property management company and they were very responsive and sympathetic; however, they are not on-site. So, the best they could do is try to call the people in the until next door and ask them to be quiet. Unfortunately, the people in the next unit were not answering their phone and ultimately, the property management couldn't do much more than that. Therefore, I recommend bringing earplugs and choosing a unit with as few shared walls as possible.

Quick weekend trip to Michigan

The inside of the apartment is clean, trendy, and cozy. I would recommend this place for a max of 2 people and sleeping in the bed on the main level. The stairs to the loft are tricky and once in the loft the metal ceiling really limits the space. The bathroom is gorgeous with a great shower! The cons of this listing for me was the area. It is very industrial and I didn’t feel safe/comfortable by myself walking in this neighborhood. Also, the outside of the building needs some major TLC. There are so many cobwebs hanging from the outside it looks like it is an abandoned building. Even looking out the windows from inside was difficult to enjoy. This is an apartment type rental with 8 others on the same level. Noise echos and sleep was difficult the first night due to people talking next door. I had to sleep with the TV on and I still heard them.

The loft is small but very modern and clean. As a night shift ER nurse all I did was sleep and work any way. This place was exceptional for that!! Cable TV would have been nice but not really necessary. (Netflix was fine.) Communication was very efficient and thorough. Plenty of restaurants and a grocery store close by. I love this place so much I'm staying in unit 4 this week!! (I've stayed in unit 1, 3 twice, 8, and 10 over the last few weeks.) These units are PERFECT for travel nurses!!

The town's main street is a block away. There's Niles Brewing Company, The Nuggett (a restaurant and bar), the Brass Eye (liquor store/ bar) and a variety of shops along main street. If you walk uphill from the property, Iron Distillery is a block up and one block to the right-great food and drinks. Overall a quaint little town with cities such as Sotuh Bend and Notre Dame about 15-20 minutes away.

*Keep your stay discrete, you are our guests. Please respect the privacy of our neighbors. 
1) Absolutely NO smoking, partying, or use of recreational or non-prescription drugs ANYWHERE on the property premises (up to $300 Cleaning & Deodorizing Fee if smoke or any illegal drug usage is detected in the unit) 
2) No Pets or Animals 
3) Please remove your shoes upon entering the house 
4) No Parties or Events!! 
5) Check-in is anytime after 4:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM unless stated otherwise. A Mandatory $50 fee for unauthorized “Overstay”. If “Overstay” exceeds two hours past checkout,guest is responsible for the Daily Base Rate (without discounts) & does not award you possession of the property for the day of “Overstay”. If guest wants to extend their stay (based upon availability), a new official booking will need to be made. If “Overstay” causes a future reservation to be refunded,guest is responsible for the full cost of reimbursement. 
6) Quiet hours observed 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM Sunday-Thursday; 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM Friday & Saturday 
7) Minimum age of 25 to book 
8) Smile! Motion detecting security cameras and recording devices are present on the exterior of the home for the purpose of guest safety and when applicable to assist in enforcinghouse rules. 
9) Host bears no responsibilities for any accident, injuries, or illness that you may sustainduring your stay. 
10) Please keep all food and drinks in kitchen or dining areas (not near beds or furniture). 
11) No parking on the street. Driveway parking only. 
12) If the place is extra dirty, beyond the normal reasonable mess, beyond what a courteous guest would leave the home, there’s an extra $140 fee, to cover extra costs for cleaning. This includes if the walls are dirty, if the guests leave pots and pans in the kitchen sink, if the flooris stained ect. 
13) If you have any undeclared guest (above what you booked for), there will be an additional charge of $100 per day booked per undeclared guest. 
14) Only the person that made the reservation can check-in. You must have a valid working phone number before you book. If we try to contact you before check-in and are unable to, we can cancel the reservation without granting any refund. 
15) For safety, security, & insurance purposes only Registered Guests are allowed onsite. All guests over 18 must be included in the Itinerary with a verified ID & photo. We reserve the right to askfor all guest names and ages for safety, insurance, and security purposes. Also guests must supply number of vehicles along with make, model, & license plate of the vehicles. 
16) Local area guests must send a request prior to booking stating nature of visit. 
17) Please report any stains immediately, we have a carpet cleaner (failure to may result in up to $250 fee Commercial cleaning). 
*If any portion of the House Rules are violated, it is grounds for immediate termination of the reservation without a refund. Violation of the Rules will also lead to immediate removal from the property otherwise guests will be considered trespassing. 
If you have a complaint about any aspect of the property or of the hosts or host’s personnel, and you tell us or your booking channel about it, you’re authorizing us to get into the property to fix the issue, to solve the problem, or to repair the home or clean it to the standards that you require. We do not need extra authorization to enter the property if there’s something you deem unsuitable, that needs remedy. 
Please treat our place respectfully, this is what the Airbnb community is all about. You are aguest in our home. We want you to make yourself comfortable and feel at home. Please take care of our things and notify us before leaving if something breaks. We really appreciate honesty. Accidents do happen, thus if you make a mess or spill please clean up after yourselves.
