My family and I had a wonderful time in The Pines.
We stayed in August, so the water was a perfect temperature for swimming. I stayed in the water most of the day. The living space was also more than enough to accomodate all six of us, and the well stocked kitchen allowed us to cook up anything we wanted.
Lindsay and Lachlan were communicative, and made sure we were comfortable with amenities like lawn games, board games, and a thoughtful welcome gift!
We would love to stay there again.
We absolutely loved staying at this cottage - everything was spotlessly clean, beautifully curated, and everything we needed was supplied. The hosts even left us a lovely welcome pack consisting of 2 bottles of wine and a s'omores kit. Honestly one of the best places we've ever stayed at. Look forward to returning one day soon.
Nice place to relax. Fresh air from trees and river. Loved the outdoor seating areas, the deck, the fire pit and the deck. Love seeing the birds, crane, chipmunks etc. Inside was roomy. There were board games and outdoor games available to use. So many great things about the place.
The cottage was well maintained and had more on the listing than expected. The owners also were very responsive to questions before and during the stay. Would highly recommend it.
An Australian and a Torontonian made the move out of the city in search of a quieter life. We are so excited to be able to share our home with those who want some rest and relaxation in the country!
