Very large house with 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths along with laundry facilities. Off street parking. Very enjoyable back deck. Convenient location to university of Albany. Older home so difficult to call pristine. But for the low price point very worthwhile and a pleasant place to stay.
The house was what we needed for 8 adults to stay, but I think pristine is well overstating it. The floors were dirty, there were cobwebs, light bulb out, bathroom painting was not finished, things were not folded well and put into places and much of furniture in it is old and used. Also the creek and steps down to it are overgrown and you can't really see it from the deck. Having said that the location is nice, central and quiet.
Had a great stay. Only concern was the 5th bed was maybe 4 feet long. I understood smaller bed in the description to mean cot size, but not toddler size. Ended up with a blow up mattress and had a great stay with 5 adult men. Creek was beautiful to see in winter. Great spot, great access to Albany and plenty of places to eat.
The house is quiet and clean, is in a quiet residential neighborhood and was close to where we needed to be. Itâs spacious and the owner was very responsive when I messaged him with questions. But itâs a very old house that is drafty and dark and has very old furnishings.
Nice house, good location. Much bigger inside than it looks! The house worked well for us with handicap needs, other than the small step into the house.
Host was responsive and agreed to address various issues and concerns regarding the property and make improvement for future renters. Overall, rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable, enjoyed deck with balcony and forest views and quiet neighborhood setting.
The home is very spacious and having 2 bathrooms a plus. Only thing minor is grass not mowed and some extreme cleaning rules but that didnât affect us from enjoying the home. Would stay again with family if up in New York again. Chris was very helpful with the getting in process.
The stairs inside squeak something awful, stairs out side are grown over, tiles in kitchen and both bathroom s are loose, dangerous! Never been to a place with so many signs!!! The washer had a dirty towel in it and the dryer was full of towels I ended up folding. Sign on the washer discouraged us from doing anything but a small load and even read the we should go to the laundry mat. Part of the amenities and a reason I choose this one was a washer and dryer!?
We enjoyed our stay in this roomy Cape in late October. The three and 5-year-old grandchildren loved the toys kept upstairs in a small bedroom with a child-sized bed. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, coffee, etc. Our host was very responsive, friendly, and helpful with some issues/questions. I feel that the sheets and towels need updating, and a couple of maintenance issues need to be addressed.
Roomy inexpensive getaway house. However, there were a couple of drawbacks: there needs to be more linens (no washcloths), bedding needs to be updated. Crib frame was broke and bed in the same room sagged in the middle (probably frame was broke). Also, it could have been a little cleaner.

Quite street, steps to the creek, few minutes walk to the public transport. Relax on the deck overlooking creek with nature sounds. House is professionally cleaned by a cleaning company. No Pets and No Smoking anywhere within the property boundaries inside or outside. Detailed house rules are posted on the notice board inside the house.
