Welcome to Rockdale Lodge in the Smoky Mountains! This 7 bedroom, 3.5 bath cabin rental accommodates up to 19 people in total comfort and luxury.

The moment you step into this astonishing vacation cabin, you are surrounded by marvelous decor and the beautiful warm tones. The charming main level living room features comfy seating, TV and a marvelous stone accented fireplace.

Adjoining the living area is the fully equipped kitchen. Prepare, cook and serve a mouthwatering dinner, savory lunch or delicious breakfast from the comfort of your Smoky Mountain cabin rental.

Also located on the main level of Rockdale Lodge is comfortable and relaxing master bedroom with a king bed. The master bath offers a large soaking tub for two.

Take a walk downstairs and you’ll enter the astonishing second floor living area. Here you can take in the mountain view from the large picture windows. Sit back and relax while watching TV on one of the sofas or head over to the game room for some really fun and exciting times. In the gaming area, you’ll be able to keep everyone smiling and entertained Jump in and play a game or sit back and watch the competition unfold.

On the lower level of Rockdale Lodge offers an exhilarating pool table game room. Gather round with all your friends and family and play in your very own entertaining pool tournament.

The game room also features mini kitchen area with mini fridge. Just off of the game room is the wonderful media room. Here’s where you and your guests can prop your feet up and watch your favorite sports teams, movies or TV shows on the big screen.

Rockdale Lodge cabin rental features 2 levels of incredible covered decks. This amazing cabin has wonderful outdoor space for everyone in your party to experience the tranquil and serene beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains. Sip your morning coffee in one of the comfy rocking chairs, admire the beautiful view.

Rockdale Lodge is continuously updating and adding amenities that will improve your stay. Recently we have replaced the furniture in the den/game-room downstairs. There is no need to worry about power failures, we have new whole house generator.

We enjoyed ample space and a pretty view while we celebrated the holidays here as a family. The kitchen was well stocked and the fire pit and hot tub, as well as the pool/ping pong tables, were hits. It could use a deep cleaning (thick dust on exhaust fan in bathroom, floor did not appear thoroughly cleaned when we were wiping up a spill), and there were some broken furniture items, but nothing that impacted our stay. The biggest issue was running out of hot water- the listing says it sleeps 19 and we had 16 (half adults) and after a few people showered we ran out of hot water. Otherwise, we had a great stay!

This home was perfect for our annually family vacation. 14 of us. Plenty of room. One recommendation is a second frig either downstairs or in basement. One frig for that big of a home was a struggle. I would use it again for sure.

We stayed here with a group of friends, and there was more than enough space for everyone to be comfortable. The house was clean, nicely decorated, and featured modern, updated amenities. Both the homeowner and property manager were extremely kind, responsive, and easy to work with. We encountered one minor issue during our stay, but it was resolved quickly thanks to their genuine care and attentiveness. I highly recommend this property to any group looking for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend in the mountains!

The kitchen was well equipped and we found everything we needed. View was very nice, hot tub worked perfectly and the owner had provided extra fuel for the grill. Secluded and very quiet. Also easily accessible and near sylva and Bryson city. I would suggest to the owners that they get a new couch for the upstairs den. It separated in the middle and was uncomfortable to sit on. Both ends were supposed to recline but the electrical cord from the couch to one end was missing. We called to find out where it was and maintenance man was supposed to come out but we never saw him. The downstairs couch was much better. Also at one point in the driveway there needs to be more gravel.

Fantastic House for Large Group

We really enjoyed this house and location. The view is beautiful and the location is private. There were plenty of towels, blankets, and pots and pans and dishes. We wanted for nothing and everything was perfect. The company called to check on us and even allowed a later check-out. We were very happy with everything.

Complications

When we arrived it was super clean we had no problems at all. It wasn’t till the morning of the first night there one of our family members had a bunch of bites on her. Thought it was mosquitoes but as the second night came more family members had bites we decided to do a check on beds and found bed bugs on 3 beds. We contacted the company they were amazing with communication and sorted out the situation for us. Overall if it wasn’t for that I would give this house a 5/5 stars!

Secluded and Spacious

This was a perfect fit for our family of 12. The home provided plenty of bedrooms, which meant no adults had to sleep with children. Always a plus. The kids and adults enjoyed the hot tub, and the kids appreciated the ping pong table/pool table.
