The brand new Madeira Bay Resort I #1403 is a two bedroom, two bathroom condo with a private balcony. King size bed in the master, bunk beds in the second bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Flat screen TV's in the living room and master. Amenities include a full kitchen, washer and dryer in unit, and free Wi-Fi. One parking pass provided. This condo is NOT pet friendly.
Madeira Bay Resort is a few short blocks from John's Pass Village and Boardwalk offering waterfront dining, shopping and water sport rentals. Very easy access to the beach, which located just across the street. The property offers a heated swimming pool, fitness room and 24/7 front desk reception.
Great location. Very clean and roomy for the 4 of us. Washer and dryer in unit was handy. Beds were so comfortable. Quiet. We felt safe walking in and around the resort. Pool was a little crowded but the hot tube was a plus
Great! We absolutely loved the location, view, and that the space accommodated us well - great to have 2 bathrooms, the washer dryer in the unit, and a dishwasher.
Beautiful condo with the absolute best location (1/2 block to John's Pass & Boardwalk). Excellent marina view from the balcony. We enjoyed watching dolphins & even a manatee while having morning coffee. Couple improvements/suggestions: perhaps offer dish soap. Bowls are super tiny for adults & teenagers to have cereal, have cleaning staff mop the floors. Our feet turned black fresh out of shower while walking around the unit even on day 1. I had to broom sweep the entire unit upon arrival as sand was everywhere even on the living room rug. Shower curtain liner in master shower needs replaced due to mold. Despite a few housekeeping hiccups we were pleased with this unit. They even had a great beach wagon & umbrella with chairs. Super bonus! Thank you for having us. This was our 3rd time at this particular building (diff units). Plan to keep coming back
Loved the location (how could you not) but the condo was horrible and not worth the price we paid. First impression was cute! Exactly what we were looking for.. just a place to shower, eat and sleep! The more we looked around the more uncomfortable we felt. The walls are filthy! There are black smudges, footprints and handprints on just about every wall! The linen on all the beds seemed dirty! Especially once under the comforter!!! I actually ended up sleeping on top of it and using a blanket brought from home! The bath towels were foul. Each one had multiple, yellow/brown stains all over it. The master bath had hair all through the tub! All different hairsâŠ.. gross!! Neither the shower heads or water pressure were of good quality!! Which in my opinion should be one of the most important fixtures in the whole place. (Next to the washer and dryer, which got the job done) - The listing description says âwell-equipped kitchenâ but itâs lacking quite a few important necessities. The dishes that are in there were dirty. I assume this is because they leave it up to the previous guest to make sure theyâre clean (even though you will pay a hefty cleaning fee). I really hate to complain. Iâm typically one to âgo with the flowâ but my family looks forward to our annual beach vacation and the condo was just a big disappointment. The pool was closed all week, too and they decided not to let anyone know. Madeira is full of rental properties. Pick another with higher standards.
The condo was great! The view of the channel was amazing for coffee in the morning and drinks at night. The space was clean and well kept. My kids enjoyed the 'on demand' TV on our rainy day and the beach chairs for our beach days. John's Pass is a very short walk and so convenient to have shops, restaurants and activities so close.

Only issues shower handle broken upon arrival and was not fixed during our stay. Was able to use washcloth to turn shower in and off (not easy).
Upon departure received email that there was evidence of a pet in condo, which is true, but was there upon our arrival. I did not complain because in general condo was clean. We will see if the $150 pet fee gets charged to me as was stated in letter I received. If so I will not return. If manager makes this right I will remain satisfied.
Stayed here with my husband and some friends for my husband's birthday weekend and we had an amazing time! Beautiful place, very clean, and walking distance to the beach, restaurants and Johns pass. 100% would stay here again!
Unit was nice but the common area was dirty with pet stains everywhere
Location was great!!! Interior of unit was good. Kitchen was not well equipped. We were on the waterside but others who were on the street side complained about the noise.
I got off the elevator on our floor and my face fell with the pet stains all over the carpet in the common area.
Overall, the stay was okay. We made the best of it for my momâs birthday. The beds were comfy but the floors were very sandy and we had to ask for them to be cleaned. The walls had scuff marks all over them that a magic eraser could take care of. Our dog found a half eaten donut under a shelf and there were traces of dog food behind the nightstand when we tried to plug in the lamps that wouldnât work. Pictures were taken if proof is needed.
It was great to find a dog friendly condo in Mad Beach with literally a 1 min walk to the beach. The condo is on the marina side, which is quieter than beach side because of the busy road. The place has nice art and most everything you need. The walk to Johnâs pass was quick and easy. The pool for MBR is lacking (small and in the middle of the parking lot), and the pics make you think the neighboring pool by the water is yours, but despite that we were very happy with this condo.
We had a great time at this location. Everything was new and clean. The balcony overlooking the marina was great to sit out and enjoy at night. It's close walking distance to John's Pass. The king bed was very comfortable. We would d definitely rent it again.
