The open concept living area combines vaulted wood plank ceilings, coastal décor, and panoramic water views to create a bright and inviting gathering space. Large sliding glass doors connect the living room directly to the waterfront deck, allowing guests to enjoy the scenery from nearly every room in the home.

The fully equipped kitchen features white shaker cabinetry, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and ample prep space for everything from quick breakfasts to family dinners. The open layout keeps everyone connected between the kitchen, dining, and living spaces, making it ideal for group gatherings.

Throughout the home, wood look tile flooring, crown molding, and a neutral coastal palette create a clean and comfortable atmosphere. A dedicated laundry room with a full size washer and dryer adds convenience for longer stays.

The layout is ideal for multiple families and larger groups, offering three private king suites while still providing plenty of sleeping space for children and additional guests.

Outdoor living is at the heart of The Blue Crab experience. The expansive waterfront deck provides multiple areas for dining, relaxing, and taking in panoramic views of the bay, bridge, oyster farm, and surrounding shoreline.

The private soundside beach offers one of the property's most unique features. The calm waters, gentle slope into the water, and little to no surf create an ideal environment for families, younger children, paddleboarding, kayaking, and guests who prefer calmer swimming conditions. The protected shoreline is also perfect for wading, fishing, exploring marine life, and spending long days by the water.

Guests can launch the included kayaks and paddleboards directly from the shoreline, set crab traps, fish from the waterfront, relax in the hammock, or gather around the beach grill to prepare fresh local seafood. The outdoor bamboo shower provides a convenient place to rinse off after a day on the water.

The plunge pool offers a refreshing place to cool off year round. Guests interested in pool heating should contact our office prior to arrival to arrange heating service.

Pool Heating Note: Pool temperature can vary during cooler months, as the system relies on outdoor air temperatures. In colder conditions (around 50°F), heating may be less effective or temporarily unavailable (45°F and below), and it can take up to 24 hours to reach the desired temperature when weather allows.

One of the home's most unique features is the expansive open air gathering space beneath the elevated home, offering additional room to relax, socialize, and enjoy the coastal setting.

Dauphin Island offers excellent fishing, boating, birding, and unforgettable sunsets. During your stay, explore Fort Gaines, the Audubon Bird Sanctuary, and the Alabama Aquarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. Local restaurants, marinas, and bike paths make it easy to enjoy the island's laid-back pace.


As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!

Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time. (Children under 2 are welcome and do not count toward occupancy.)
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is NOT pet-friendly.
