Located minutes from Hawera, McArthur Park is a lovely place to find rejuvenation, in a colorful peaceful location with inspiring views of Mt Taranaki amidst bird song. Enjoy a clean, spacious main bedroom with views of Mt Taranaki or a 2nd bedroom with rural views both accessing a kitchen area to enjoy a light breakfast with views of our famous mountain and sheep in the paddock below. Also enjoy your private entrance, guest lounge, sky tv, unlimited internet and a baby grand piano for you to play. For use of the 2nd bedroom there is an extra charge per person of $30.00 per night. Please note this property is not suitable for very young children. Please check our house rules of ages permitted......

WOW! 5 Stars on everything!

This place was amazing. We loved the view of the volcano and the cleanliness of the accommodations. The host was spectacular. We needed to wash some of our clothes and the host offered to wash them for us. I would definitely recommend this place and wished we could’ve stayed longer.

Lovely country feel stay

This is a lovely quaint property. My cousin and I loved its beautiful views. Not far from the main town. Felt very welcomed from Christina on arrival.

Beautiful Long Weekend Getaway Stay

Mc Arthur park was a delightful place to stay. Our hosts were wonderful and welcoming. It was so comfortable with the lovely kitchenette, and little snacks that were the extra little details. We had a lovely time. Thank you so much.

Clean, comfortable and quiet

We got a good nights sleep every night and enjoyed breakfast before making the most of our holiday. The location was beautiful and our host lovely. Highly recommended

Lovely hostess and partner. Upgraded Kiwi farmhouse and accommodation included bedroom(s), kitchen (limited cooking) bathroom and lounge. Wonderful gardens and very quiet. Would stay again any time.

Outstanding Hospitality

We had a whirlwind trip to Hawera for the Garden Festival. Kelly and Christina’s home was a not only in the perfect location, but it could have been an entrant in the garden festival, a beautiful setting, stunning home. Clean and welcoming! The attention to detail was next level with little treats available to top it off ! Can’t recommend highly enough !

Perfect stay - wish we'd stayed longer

Everything about this stay was lovely. The beds were comfortable, it was easy to find, location was convenient for us, property was gorgeous, views were stunning, quiet area, and PHENOMENAL (can't underscore that enough) hosts. They were so welcoming, kind, and respectful. They shared their property and sheep with us and let us feed them bread, but gave us privacy as well. It was perfect. We truly wish we didn't have somewhere else to be the next night so we could stay longer.

OVERNIGHT DELIGHT

We were three, a couple and another adult. We were made thoroughly welcome and our hosts drew a nice balance between letting us alone to enjoy our rooms and being attentive. The roast chicken (and apple pie) supper was super (and the roast potatoes crispy "like mother used to make"). Beautiful house, comfy and delightful rooms (bedrooms, "our" lounge and the breakfast room) and a great view of MtTaranaki.

Spectacular beyond belief hosts

Christina and Kelly were absolutely amazing hosts. Never experienced anything like it before. They popped in and out our lamps on every night before we got back, provided us with beautiful fresh baked goods each day. Their garden is such a peaceful place with beautiful flowers and a very nice gazebo. Would recommend these guys 2 million %.

Was absolutely gorgeous!!

The property was super clean,tastefully decorated and very well maintained,spacious.Brilliant hosts,engaging and both excellent communicators and also gave us our space and privacy.Went over and above allowing the kids interaction with their animals and feeding the sheep.Also offered the use of a bicycle and other entertainment for the kids.Thank you Kelly and Christina for making our holiday,you will be hearing from us again.Pierre,Samantha,Sarah,Hollie.

MacArthur Park

Our decision to get away to Hawera was made late, but we booked and were confirmed in just minutes. I thought the House seemed a very good deal on paper, but upon arrival it just got even better. Christina and Kelly were very welcoming and friendly, they showed us around and made sure we had everything we needed. The house is beautiful and very well kept, very clean, quiet, comfortable and warm. Easy parking as well. The super king size bed is very comfortable. Plenty of snacks and food available if you need it. Ten out of ten experience and a very comfortable couple of nights.

Enjoy the gardens and accommodations in a park like atmosphere.
