We enjoyed having a home that allowed our family to be together. The proximity to the beach and golf was very convenient. We enjoyed the tranquility of the location of the home.

Wonderful home

The home was beautiful. There was plenty of room for our large family to be together, but without feeling crowded. The views were gorgeous. We would love to return.

TX/MO Vacay

This is a beautiful home with lovely pool and outdoor space. We were able to seat 13 around the dining table. Plenty of beach towels, fully equipped kitchen. Only issue was noisy construction going on nextdoor which made it not very pleasant to enjoy the pool during the day.

We are sorry to hear that you may have been inconvenienced by any construction noise in the area. There is a home currently being built in an adjacent lot (rather than next door). Regrettably, with this being a residential island, we do not have control over local construction and are pleased that no other gusts have been disturbed.

Spacious Beach house. Well appointed. Oversized kitchen. Well equipped and overall house was well maintained. Also spacious living areas. Master suite was massive. Other bedrooms were all well sized and comfortable. Bunk room (with built in bunks) perfect for the children. Pool on main level was easily accessible from main living area--simply a few steps away. We had a party of 7 adults and two small children. Could have accommodated much larger group. This is a top level property with a top level price! Only downside was air conditioning. The main living area unit went out (90 degrees every day we were there); the property manager was quick to respond and repaired the next day. However, overall the a/c struggled a bit in handling the extreme temps. Probably not unique to this property. Overall, I do not think you will be disappointed staying at this property. It is a five star property.

In the unprecedented heat waves we have experienced this summer, many of the HVAC systems have struggled to keep all of the way up (generally only a couple of degrees warmer than what is set) in the height of the day, which is normal. We enjoyed this beautiful property very much! Lovely home! Everything was clean and for the most part well equipped, especially the kitchen. Everything was clean and we enjoyed the pool very much. We hope to return to 136 Flyway in the future. My only suggestion, which you cannot control, is that it took us 45 minutes to get through the gate. The line of cars coming onto the island was backed up for miles. It is especially frustrating when you have paid a lot of money, been traveling all day and are tired! The line was backed up almost to FreshFields. I have been coming to Kiawah for 40 years and have never seen it like this. The present gate situation just cannot handle the numbers. Thanksgiving 2022

A lovely house with plenty of room for the whole family. We really enjoyed the easy access to the beach and biking on the trails. The only snafu was that one of the ovens was not working but the management company brought over a countertop oven and we were able to make that work. We would definitely stay here again.

Great week….

The house was BEAUTIFUL!!!! The location was GREAT!!! The process from booking to checking in was super easy!!!! The only issue was the bathrooms had mold on the ceiling above the showers which made for a stinky smell in them!!! Also the deck and pool was very hard to keep clean from the falling acorns & leaves since the pool vacuum wasn’t working.. Otherwise it was a great week and totally enjoyed ourselves!!!!

They were only able to find mildew in one bathroom, and fortunately were able to easily clean the area. The pool is set for weekly cleaning to assist with the debris from the surrounding trees, and we have since checked to ensure the vacuum is working properly. We are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay regardless!

This is a beautiful up to date house with every amenity you can imagine. The house layout is spectacular and was perfect for our family of 10. The location is superb too- very walkable to the beach

The house is beautiful, the kitchen well equipped for cooking in, the pool and back patio are perfect for relaxing. The walk to the beach was fairly easy. This rental made for one of our best Kiawah trips yet.

Awesome property

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Kiawah for 30+ years. This year we needed a larger house because we had 10 adult kids and teen age grandkids.They all loved the pool and used it every day after the beach and in the evening. We used the pool table every night.The house had two dishwashers and ovens and two washers/dryers. Plenty of seating and enough dishes, pots. pans, etc. Plan on returning next year. Property management was VERY responsive to any need/question we had. Only disappointment is no one turned in a pair of golf shorts and Boston Marathon shirt I left behind. But that does not take away from the great time the property provided.

My family of 7 stayed for a week and had an incredible time! Kiawah Island is incredible and the house is one block from the ocean. Property manager was very helpful and responsive to our inquiries. Five stars!

Solid house but some kinks (maybe its brand new?)

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we loved the location and house but for sure there are some things off about the house. Our take is that the house was just finished or built because a lot of things were not complete or half done (e.g., lights left unfinished, blue tape on walls, shower heads not installed correctly). Also note that the house echoes a TON, so for us with a baby it was hard. You could hear everything. One last note, odd but the furniture was SUPER heavy esp downstairs so moving chairs, etc. was very clunky.
