Absolutely the best

This cabin was fabulous! Very clean, and in good repair. We had no issues during our weekend. There is so much to do at this cabin - you never need to leave! A 10 year old, four teenagers, and two adults stayed very well entertained. I highly recommend this place.Plenty of outdoor seating. I particularly enjoyed the porch swing, but the hammock and rocking chairs were great, too. We used the firepit both nights. So many games and outdoor activities! The teens particularly enjoyed pickleball.Plenty of towels and blankets were available - extras in the hall closet. The kitchen was well-stocked, although I didn't cook. Bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and all sinks had plenty of hand soap available. The starter supply of paper products was more than enough to last us the weekend. If you do need something, Jack's IGA is just 5 minutes away.I would caution others to lock their car doors. I forgot the second night, and the next morning we had an open door and animal tracks inside (probably a raccoon). No lasting damage, so it's just funny, but could've been a real mess.

Relaxing get away!

We really enjoyed the cabin and all of the amenities that were offered. The cabin was very comfortable and well maintained and we were impressed with all of the furnishings that were provided - all the way down to cooking spices and 2 grills!The huge lot was wonderful for our dogs to run, and our kids enjoyed the pickleball, ping pong and kayaking. We will certainly be back!

You could literally just stay at this cabin and have a great time w family. We had other things planned and didnt end up getting to do all.we wanted at the cabin.

Would recommend for any family !

Had a wonderful weekend staying at this cabin with my family for my birthday! So many outdoor activities on the property, huge wrap around porch/deck and beautiful views ! Not to mention the inside of the cabin itself is roomy, beautiful and has everything you need for your stay! Only about a 20 minute drive to the gorge and other activities! So worth it and made many memories !

Nice family cabin on the river!

We came with 4, 20-something adult children. Everyone enjoyed their stay. The cabin was spacious enough for all 6 of us. The kids particularly loved being able to kayak on the Kentucky River right out the back door. There were enough kayaks for everyone and a nice dock to launch off. The hot tub and pickle all court were also hits. We all enjoyed evenings sitting and grilling on the wide back porch with a view of the pond.Cabin had everything we needed but could use a mattress update in the smaller rooms and mixing bowls in the kitchen. We would stay here again.

Highly recommend

We really enjoyed our stay. This was our second trip to the cabin. We stayed here 4 years ago and enjoyed it, they have added more games and sports since then. We really enjoyed kayaking, fishing, playing ping pong, carpet ball, and basketball. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Stay!!

The cabin comfortably fit 6 adults! We loved all of the outdoor activities, especially pickleball! I would highly recommend this cabin for a vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay on the property. Plenty of room and activities to keep everyone busy. We probably spent more time on the huge back porch than anywhere else. Would definitely book again

A large part of the reason I picked this location was the hot tub. When we arrived, the temperature was a cold 88 degrees. We called the management, and they came and dumped out some of the cold water and added hot water. However, this did not help, as the temperature remained at 88 until the morning we were leaving. It was only 100 degrees. That is not a hot tub.

Spent each and every day with my parents who live in Beattyville. Our crowd was a little too large to stay with parents so we chose this rental. Absolutely awesome!

Perfect Family Holiday Getaway

We loved this property! Very cozy and so much to do, the views are picturesque. We got slightly messed up with directions on our phones and Brian helped straighten us out in no time. We also had some car troubles and were able to go to the local mechanic in town, the Friday after Thanksgiving and got exactly the help we needed. Highly recommend this rental!

Not Accessible

We identified this location because the listing was marked as wheelchair accessible. This property is NOT accessible and had steps to enter. Fortunately, our friend brought her small ramp and was able to access this property otherwise she would not have been able to enter the property, ruining our weekend. Also, the bathroom is not an accessible bathroom. It’s important that if a listing says accessible, it is truly accessible. There were a number of other items and features that were disappointing. - There were no potholders, not enough silverware for 6 people, missing cooking utensils like a usable whisk, and at least one mixing bowl - The bunk bed mattresses were awful and not satisfactory for an adult. While the location is lovely and we appreciated the abundance of games, it was very frustrating to experience these issues.

Girls weekend

Eight of us met at the cabin for a much needed girls weekend. The location was easy to find, less than 2 miles from an IGA, and was exceptionally clean. The cabin and amenities were exactly as described. Beautiful scenery, quiet neighbors, wildlife, and comfortable king size bed. Thank you for helping us create memories!

Great property and cabin

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful cabin. The back deck was our main hangout from coffee in the morning listening to the birds and watching them in the feeder, to listening to the rain, to even sharing a meal. Our family had fun in the gameroom as well as playing basketball in the driveway. We didn't get to all the other wonderful things on the property like badminton, tether ball or frisbee golf. We could seriously have stayed in the cabin all week just enjoying everything they have to offer and not gotten bored. The cabin was also great for family movie night. We cooked most meals in the cabin. I was impressed with the shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers. There was also an abundance of towels. Our primary reason for choosing Red River Gorge was hiking to arches. We were about 20 - 30 minutes away. We had excellent days hiking to beautiful areas. Note: For tourist activities, we enjoyed an underground boat ride at Gorge Underground. We also completely enjoyed the Kentucky Reptile Zoo. If you like snakes, this is very cool. There's a cabin next door that shares the property. We had the place to ourselves for most of the stay. When the cabin next door had people, we didn't even know they were there. I don't know how it would be if they were using the amenities. Just something to be aware of. However, it made me think renting both together would be amazing with my kids and grandkids! If we come back again, we will definitely stay here.

Activities Everywhere

This property has something for everyone. We had 8 people staying in our group and everyone had a nice place to sleep. The kitchen is well equipped but they also have a standard grill and flat iron grill for cooking outback. In the evening we played ping pong in the game room, and had a nice fire at the firepit. In the daytime, our elderly mom enjoyed the back porch swing, watching the birds at the feeders and strolls around the pond. This place really was perfect for young and old.

Perfect Weekend in the KY Foothills

We had a great time! So much recreational things to do right on the property, we could truly leave the world behind for a bit but still have plenty of fun! We had 6 adults and two very happy mini Australian Shepherds who, literally, had the time of their lives!

Best Family Gathering Ever

We were a group of 7. Wonderful cabin and the grounds and facilities they had far exceeded expectations. Disc golf, kayaks, volleyball, badmitten, basketball, a game room with ping pong and foosball table. Huge fire pit. Plus, many more items. And easy access to Natural Bridge and the rest of the Red River Gorge area. They had a big Blackstone grill which was great for breakfast and dinner. We were celebrating a 60th birthday and this was the perfect place for that. Highly recommend this place.
