Mountain View Escape - Top Floor

Welcome to our top-floor, one bedroom, one bathroom suite located in Canmore. The suite is newly renovated and furnished, and has been designed and stylized with your comfort and convenience in mind! The kitchen is stocked with all the utensils necessary to enjoy a home-cooked meal. Stay connected with dedicated, high speed unlimited wifi, and watch your favourite shows on a sleek 55" smart TV. The suite is within walking distance of bustling, downtown Canmore. We look forward to hosting you!

The Space

This 500 sq. ft. self-contained, top floor suite features panoramic mountain views from each window. The suite is spacious for two guests, and we are certain that you will find all that you need in the fully-stocked, full-size kitchen. We have paid special attention to the small details, including adding a dishwasher as well as in-suite laundry, for your convenience. Please note that there is a flight of stairs upon entry into the suite.

The Building

Our condo building is located off of Bow Valley Trail in Canmore with quick and easy access to the highway for all your outdoor adventures! There is a dedicated parking lot for our condo building for your convenience. Please note that the building does not have an elevator, so guests must walk up 1 flight of stairs to access the condo unit, and there is an additional flight of stairs upon entry into the suite. Additionally, this is a multi-dwelling condo complex, so while we have done what we can to make your stay as comfortable as possible, there is potential to hear some light noise between neighboring units.

Beautiful little place close to all amenities and major road ways. It was our second time staying here and won't be our last! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a mountain escape.

Lovely retreat

The property was clean and cozy, perfect for 1 to 2 people. It was a perfect place to stay while we skied and went hiking. We will happily stay there again while vacationing in Canmore!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

The condo was perfect for what we needed and Canmore is a wonderful town. We loved staying there. Very walkable to shops and fantastic restaurants. This was a great place to act as our base for going into the national parks everyday. Lots to do and see with a comfortable place to come back to!

Adorable and functional condo in Canmore

We loved our stay in this delightful condo. Canmore served as the perfect jumping off point for all our adventures, and Canmore itself is cute and walkable. The condo was thoughtfully furnished and stocked with all kinds of extras, and the hosts were extremely kind and communicative. I would recommend.

Perfect Basecamp for Exploring!

Teryn and Alex were excellent hosts. The unit was in great shape and it’s excellent location served as a great basecamp for our adventures in the area! We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re up that way!

Perfect home base for 10 day trip

This was the perfect home base for our 10 day anniversary trip. The condo is even cuter than described. It was just my husband and I, not sure how comfortable it would be for more than 2 people but was absolutely perfect for us. We will be back.

Anniversary Trip in Canmore (Canadian Rockies)

The "Mountain View Escape" was everything it listed online and more. Many little "extras" were included in the condo including soaps, paper products and chocolate! The hosts were quickly responsive to our questions before the trip which was very helpful. The location allowed for super easy access to the highway and Banff and all of our many, many hikes! I would definitely recommend this special spot.

Super Cute/Great Location

Communication was timely and helpful. It looks just like it does in the pictures. There’s a coffee shop and a sandwich/soup shop right across the street which was nice. Close to town, but not so close you hear all the noise. Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous!

Our stay at this lovely apartment was simply fabulous. The owners have put a tremendous amount of effort into decorating the place, and they have taken into consideration everything one might need during their stay. The apartment was not only spotless but also very cozy. The hosts were very efficient in their communication, and they were available to answer any questions we had at any time. We would highly recommend this place to anyone and would give it a rating of 12 out of 10.

Outstanding

Wow we are blown away. The amenities that were provided was off the hook. You guys thought of everything to make it feel like home. After a day of exploring and hiking it was great to come back to the place and have everything we needed to cook a meal and be able to take leftovers out on the trail the next day. We would highly recommend this to anyone!!!! Oh and Mario brothers was super fun to play - great addition!

What a gem of a place! We stayed 7 nights and it had everything we needed for our entire stay. The unit was absolutely adorable and comfy! The shower was fantastic after long hiking days. The washer and dryer in the unit was an absolute bonus! The owners were absolutely amazing and so helpful from day one of booking! They are so responsive and friendly. We are avid hikers and drove every day out to Banff and Yoho. It is 1 hour from Banff and 1:15 from Yoho. The drive is so stunning that it seems much shorter. Canmore is the ideal location and this unit was the icing on the cake! There are also large grocery stores very close to the unit and the kitchen has all the necessities! Another bonus was that Alex and Teryn put a sound machine in the room..pure heavenly sleep! They also left wine and chocolate as a welcome gift. We cannot wait to come back to Canmore and stay in this unit in the future! Thank you, Alex and Teryn, for such an amazing stay! Jen and Cameron

Comfortable, clean and well appointed apartment.

The property was comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped with gorgeous Mountain View’s. The added bonus was a lovely bottle of red wine and beautiful chocolate as a welcome gift. There was free parking available and a super efficient washing machine and dryer. The kitchen had all the staples required to cook if need be. (We ate out every night for 6 nights!). The apartment was an easy walk into main town and easily accessible to lots of likes. Communication with Teryn and Alex was excellent. No question was ever too difficult and responses were received almost immediately. Their suggestions regarding hikes, restaurants and ‘what to do’ were very detailed and helpful . Their local knowledge of the transport system especially accessing Lake Louise and Moraine Lake was extra helpful. We could easily have stayed longer. We would definitely stay here again if we were to return.

This place was incredible- we loved how well-equipped the kitchen was, how nicely the rooms were decorated, and how hospitable everything felt (from a sweet welcome note to the treats to the HUGE selection of videogames!) Be Advised

Cute place, be advised of the following before renting. Location: older hotel/motel renovated to condos. Steps going up to unit, needs attention...Be careful, when cold steps are super slippery and pieces of wood coming up. Noise/trains/smell: You can hear EVERYTHING - trains come through area at all hours and it is LOUD. The noise from the other units is like you are in that unit with them. You can SMELL anything that is being smoked! Some just stand outside and smoke weed and cigarettes. Smells terrible if you're smell sensitive. Disappointed about location, noise and smells.

Thank you for your feedback, Caren & Robbin, and our apologies if your experience did not live up to your expectations. We just wanted to expand upon your thoughts to help manage expectations for any future guests: Stairs: the building’s exterior stairwell is outfitted with anti-slip treads on each step to ensure safety and comfort when walking on them. We investigated your comment of pieces of wood coming up, but we could not find anything. Trains/Noise: Our building is located along Bow Valley Trail, which runs alongside the train tracks that pass through the town of Canmore. While we are not directly on the tracks like many hotels/accommodation in town, the noise from the train does echo through the valley, and we can certainly appreciate your concern. We also understand that some guests may not be used to living in a multi-dwelling complex, where light impact noise between units may sometimes be heard. While our unit is on the top floor, which helps reduce the amount of noise that a guest may hear, we also have a noise-machine and fan for those who are sensitive to new places and noises, to help with their sleep experience. Smoke: All condo units, as well as the common-area courtyard that lead to each suite are smoke-free. There are no-smoking signs posted on each unit door, as well as in the common-area courtyard. We extend our sincerest apologies to you if other guests were not obeying the posted signs.

Anniversary Trip

We visited Canmore, Banff, Lake Louise area for our anniversary. The condo was perfect for just the two of us. Alex and Teryn have it decorated perfectly with lots of thoughtful details. They were very easy to communicate with as well and got back to us immediately with any questions that arose. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Excellent Retreat

I came here on a solo getaway to have a retreat after my mother’s recent passing. This was the perfect spot. The space is calming, modern, bright, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was perfect for cooking my own meals and had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and cozy. There are thoughtful touches throughout, such as plastic containers for making a picnic, shampoo/conditioner/body wash and a hair dryer in the bathroom, and even classic video games. I loved the space so much I was tempted to never leave. I hope to be back soon, thank you for an excellent stay!
