Located 15 minutes from the CBD in the premier seaside suburb of Taroona , we are offering experienced professional hospitality, privacy for couples & honeymooners to relax in scenic surrounds.

The stylish modern & comfortable accommodation with ensuite is located under our house, offers complementary continental breakfast, a welcome package , Smart TV , free WIFI, Netflix & STAN, a separate kitchenette and laundry.

Public transport to the CBD and airport is available nearby.

Central location for Hobart and surrounding attractions. Very friendly hosts who made sure we were comfortable and gave us suggestions on what to do around the area.

Peter was a great host and offered us support in terms of local activities. He is also a renowned chef and we took the opportunity for him to prepare us a 3 course dinner which was exceptional. The accommodation fitted our needs perfectly and was only a short walk from a really nice beach. It was only a short drive from Hobart CBD. There is not a lot of shops etc near the accommodation so a car is needed. Breakfast was provided also and it was varied. Would recommend this accommodation to anybody visiting Tasmania. Thank you Peter!

Delightful hideaway

We were extremely impressed by this property & particularly our host Peter. He was welcoming & very helpful in every way. All his suggestions proved to be spot on. We also enjoyed a delicious salmon meal he had cooked for us! The property was very clean, well appointed and just a short walk from the beach, with easy access by car to Hobart & other interesting sites. We highly recommend staying here.

A slice of Tranquility

We loved staying with Peter and Angela! They have a wonderful location close to the beach, quiet neighborhood and not to mention that they spoil you! You have complete privacy downstairs but always have goodies put in the fridge for you! Order breakfast because Peter makes a great meal and presents it so wonderfully. He also is great about offering things to do and see. We loved our time here and would love to stay with them again!

From booking enquiries, to prior to check in and throughout the entire stay, communications from Peter and with Peter has been responsive, detailed and excellent. Outstanding!

Peter is an excellent host. Our evening flight was very late but he was unfazed and waited up to welcome us warmly when we arrived close to midnight! The unit is extremely well equipped and very comfortable and Peter surprised us by adding to the fridge extra breakfast options as our stay went on. Than you so much for a great stay!

Above and beyond

Not only did Mr Lutz provide us with a wonderful location, but it was the perfect size, had high quality bedding, a small outdoor area AND a gourmet breakfast! We had several interactions with him and he was nothing but cordial, affable and generous. My partner and I will definitely look him up for our next stay in Hobart.
