Eastwood Lodge is situated conveniently next to footpaths leading to Walberswick and Southwold. Itâs located between Blythburgh, an enchanting Suffolk village with historical Anglo-Saxon connections, and Walberswick, a popular seaside destination and home to several stars.
The lodge is situated in the Suffolk Coast National Nature Reserve, a fifteen-minute walk away from the captivating Walberswick town, and its stunning beaches.
The lodge is comprised of five separate units:
On the ground floor, there is the main unit and a smaller unit, with three more units on the first floor, which have a range of set-ups to meet the needs of a variety of guests.
This is a spacious, and newly refurbished studio on the first floor, which sleeps up to two people, with its own en-suite bathroom and kitchenette. Itâs fully equipped, with a television and internet, and the kitchenette includes a microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge, with all the cutlery and utensils you need.
Firstly, there are communal washing facilities, which consists of a washing machine, clotheshorse and a large sink. Additionally, the guests are encouraged to enjoy the vast garden which surrounds the lodge and are welcome to bring their dogs, at an additional charge of ÂŁ10 payable in cash to the housekeeper. However, please be aware that there is a working farm next-door, which is not part of the lodge, so we kindly ask the guests not to enter this property out of respect for the farmer.
