Eastwood Lodge is situated conveniently next to footpaths leading to Walberswick and Southwold. Itâs located between Blythburgh, an enchanting Suffolk village with historical Anglo-Saxon connections, and Walberswick, a popular seaside destination and home to several stars.
The lodge is situated in the Suffolk Coast National Nature Reserve, a fifteen-minute walk away from the captivating Walberswick town, and its stunning beaches.
The lodge is comprised of five separate units:
On the ground floor, there is the main unit and a smaller unit, with three more units on the first floor, which have a range of set-ups to meet the needs of a variety of guests.
This particular flat is located on the ground floor and is the only fully self-contained unit within the lodge. With one and a half separate bedrooms and one full bathroom, it can sleep up to five people. The main bedroom houses a king, the half bedroom contains a bunkbed and the sofa folds out into a bed.
Despite dating back to the 1900âs, the unit is fully equipped for your modern needs, with a Smart TV and internet, and a kitchen with a four-burner cooker, oven, microwave, toaster and a fridge/freezer.
Firstly, there are communal washing facilities, which consists of a washing machine, clotheshorse and a large sink. Additionally, the guests are encouraged to enjoy the vast garden which surrounds the lodge and are welcome to bring their dogs, at an additional charge of ÂŁ10 payable in cash to the housekeeper.
However, please be aware that there is a working farm next-door, which is not part of the lodge, so we kindly ask the guests not to enter this property out of respect for the farmer.
