One of a kind Sebago Lake camp overlooking Camp Cove and Jordan Bay Cove
Enjoy a relaxing stay at our One of a kind, unique seasonal camp on the point with 450 feet of water frontage overlooking Camp Cove and Jordan Bay Cove with amazing views. Grandfathered over-sized deck on the water. 3 bedrooms and 1 bath and a queen futon on the porch. Living room has many windows looking out at both coves. Grab a book and lay in the hammock or just sit on the large dock overlooking the lake.
The property was excellent. The only thing I may of misunderstood was that I thought the deck was attached to the house. But it was not a big deal and we still have a great time.
We loved our stay at the Web. It is a very unique property! The beach/dock combination is excellent. The cottage is unique and lovely and obviously much loved by its owners. The little walk down the steep hill to the beach/dock was part of the beauty and uniqueness of the property, but might be difficult for people with mobility issues and/or small children.
The neighborhood was quiet, great for taking walks, also not too far, (but far enough you would want to plan your trips), from Raymond where there is everything you need, and a GREAT ice cream spot!
Wonderful views of lake from living room, perfect for views of sunrise.
Dock/ deck & beach are sheltered from prevailing summer wind and have a nice lake view. With a good eye loons can be spotted on lake and heard too. Water is great for swimming. The dock/deck is nice for both star gazing and soaking up the sun. If you feel too hot in the sun, it is only a few steps to wooded shade or a shaded hammock. Or, if you like, return up the hill to the picnic table for a snack or to read in the shade cooled by the prevailing summer breeze..
It is a place where one can rest and relax
Beautiful property, amazing location, fantastic home
This home is the last property on Raymond Peninsula. The home is one of the original camps in the area. My family enjoys two types of vacations in Maine - lakefront in the middle of nowhere and lakefront that has easy access to stores restaruants and other people. This is the latter, but the house itself is nestled on a wooded lot on a quiet lane so there is some degree of seclusion.
We loved every minute of our stay at the property. The camp is a well-designed cottage nestled in pine trees overlooking the lake with large picture windows. The bedrooms are small but comfortable. There is nothing fancy or pretentious about the place, just very homey with everything you need. We love camping, and in a way, this felt like camping at the Ritz. Because the property is so large, you have different areas to hang out that felt like you are camping--a picnic table area, a separate fire pit area down the hill with adirondack chairs, and a large hammock farther down the hill, and beyond that the amazing, relaxing dock. This was the most relaxing vacation we've had in a long time. Thank you!
Great stay despite uncooperative weather. Very nice lakefront property with beautiful dock for outdooers dining. Lots of water toys to enjoy. The house has a unique charm with a large fireplace and a gorgeous wall of windows overlooking the lake.
The description does not do this location justice. Beautiful property and unexpectedly well stocked with essentials. As a side note, Cottage Linens (207-967-4531) came through dropping off clean bedding and towels and picking them up at the end of the week!
